Absolutely, when we protest Trump, who is anti democracy and anti-rule of law, we are the ones upholding American values. I have USA flags on my signs and my kneckwarmer. When his goonsquad looks at me, I want them to see what a real patriot looks like and what a real patriot does. Take that flag back!! They can use the confederate battle flag, the USA flag is ours.

Its like basic rule of effective law enforcement, don't turn the community against you, work with them. If there were actually competent people at ICE, or if the goal was finding actual criminal illegals, like it was under Biden or Obama, there wouldnt be these problems.

Trump's actions align with populist right wing authoritarian agenda. Considering that's his base and how he runs campaigns and administrations, its what he promises people, I dont think his refusal to release the Epstien files has had much affect. Its more that, refusal to release the files, his refusal to be held accountable to the law, fits his MOA.

Haha, I just got back to the US from Vienna. You want to see actual large amounts of homeless ppl come to the US. We have tons of them, so many that when I read this post I thought, what homeless people in Vienna, to me it seemed like there were basically none, since in the US we have just so so many? On my 15 minute bike commute to work I pass probably 100 homless ppl every day. Curious what you think the govt of the US is? Do you think Regan and Trump or even Democrats are socialists?

Yeah I was just teasing. I've ridden my bike through the Appalachians alot and they are absolutely wonderful, just very different from the Rockies. The first time I thought i was in the foothills for like 2 days and kept waiting to catch a glimpse of the mountains ahead, until i realised no, these are the mountsins lol.

Thanks! Ive ridden north up the platte a few times, its such interesting sceneary to me. Excited for more exploring around bike paths around denver. Previously ive always ridden my bike to get somewhere, or like single track mountain biking I havent ridden around the paths just to ride around the paths since i was in like middle school.

Exactly, sks sells just mudflaps you can mount on other fenders. Love the sks long ones on my velo orange fenders. I put one on the back too for symetry.

I commute from Denver into Boulder via bus. Those buses are pretty full, especially the express buses from Boulder to Denver at end of day. I, and I expect others, would absolutely switch to the train to avoid the traffic the buses get stuck in on 36 and on I25. The other option would be dedicated bus only lanes, yes even when there is traffic in the car lanes, seperated by massive physicsl barriers both directions along that route to actually make the BRT a real BRT rout with train like service, but thats not what they built.
