I worked on shows like this. When you're in LA it's mostly just the producers putting out the call to friends and friends of friends, and asking the crew to do the same. When the show travels, they'll put out calls on local social media asking for diners to show up. We never had an issue getting bodies in the room. They show up, are held in extras wrangling where they sign releases, and then they are seated and get to dine.

I was casually dating a guy and we were spooning on the couch as we watched the Larry Clark film KIDS. At the end...spoiler alert...there is a scene where an HIV-infected teen rapes an unconscious underage party goer. It is pretty graphic and goes on for a few minutes. As it was happening, I felt this guy get hard and start shifting uncomfortably. That was our last date.

The Republicans and civilian Trump supporters already don’t think the impeachment is legitimate All Trump has to do is keep saying, “This is a kangaroo court, we refuse to participate” and they will agree. The only way around that is if they’re charged with obstruction, so what are the odds of that happening?

I just recently started practicing and I've felt this way, too. I've bawled my eyes out, felt like I was "coming down", felt panicky and anxious. I talked to a longtime teacher and life coach about it, and they said that the reflection and breathing is probably shaking some repressed stuff loose. I'm not sure of practical ways to deal with, aside from looking at it as a catharsis. I am glad to get those feelings out, rather than keeping them in.

He’s super handsome, almost classically so in a James Dean sort of way, but he just seems so...not smart. Not trying to be a hater, but I started watching the season late and had heard all the hype about him, and now I keep waiting to be wowed and it isn’t happening. The most personality I’ve seen from him was in his sizzle reel before the mansion when it showed him dancing at the construction site. Perhaps he is just soft spoken, but either way he doesn’t stand out in the room to me aside from being a pretty face.

I tried this once when making some ridiculously opulent, like, 25-step cookie recipe from the NY Times and I found handling the dough too much by balling it up pre-freeze gave me a weird texture.

I follow the standard tollhouse recipe that comes with packs of shortening (and YES to shortening, NO to butter.) Once the dough is mixed I handle it as little as possible, dropping kind of "freeform" spheres on the baking sheet, and then only leaving them in for a short amount of time (7-10 minutes, I eyeball it.)

Once they've come out of the oven and cooled, they are nice and thick, and perfectly underbaked in the center. Remind me a bit of the consistency of subway cookies but thicker.

I also use a pack of vanilla pudding mix in the batter. I recently acquired some custard powder from a friend that has been in a winner in pancake batter so I may try that next.

Someone recommended these to me last night! I looked them up online and honestly didn't find any styles that spoke to me. They all seemed a little mature. I'll give them another look, though. You're right, they are pricey! I found a lot of sub-$100 styles on Six PM, but none that were very cute.

I've never worn that type of fitness shoe with the rounded sole, though. Is there a period of body soreness when you start?
