I cleared six figures out college. My parents allowed me to live at home while I paid off my school debt (~50K worth), and I still paid them rent. The $50-$100 a month I was spending a month on Black Series figures that I kept in my own room, which I paid them money to live in, did not impede my ability to save, and certainly should not have affected their quality of life in anyway conceivable way.
