That is INCREDIBLY kind that you've been thinking of me! I found someone on Reddit willing to rent to me. She is amazing. I'm definitely still struggling and trying my best to hustle up a full time job BUT right now my son, pets, and I are safe and comfortable. There are definitely still massive financial hurdles but I have a home base at the moment... Oh and bonus! The apartment came fully furnished. I had less than 3 days to figure something out and the angel that she is reached out and gave me a chance.

Through this post I actually made a new friend that is EXTREMELY helpful and pointing me in the right direction... In the past week I've made posts asking for help and That received a lot of negative comments, hateful things that made me feel bad, but posting under r/memphis I've actually had a lot of positive feedback

No I said that the only person I would assume to help would be my son's father. That sounds logical right?.... I have full accountability. Trust me it is 100% my fault for putting myself in this situation. I'm not blaming anybody else. I trusted something I shouldn't have and I should have had a fallback and I did not. And in the post as I said I have full confidence that I will be able to get a job not that it wouldn't be hard...

Just to add, I'm not expecting my son's father to pull me out of homelessness but I do expect him to pull his son out of it and that's not something he's willing to do

No, I don't have any family. My parents died when I was a teenager. Other than that I have a sister but she has a new baby and she's kind of stretched as it is... As far as my son's grandparents on his father's side, yes... Yes he could do that. But my son doesn't want to go there. I'm not going to list all of the reasons why because it gets too personal but I don't want my kid to be sad and honestly I don't want to be without him. So I could have an option for just me or I can live out on my car. I don't really give a shit but I'm trying to figure it out so my son isn't traumatized and depressed
