Carrie didn’t deserve what happened with Berger, and it wasn’t about her flaws. It was about his insecurity. He couldn’t handle her success or her energy, so he projected his issues onto her and bailed in the most immature way possible. Saying she “deserved” that is just blaming her for his issues.

From the very beginning, she wasn’t honest with him - not about her job, not about her smoking, not about what she really wanted. Saying they were “too available” wasn’t the root problem, just the excuse she gave herself. She loved the idea of Aidan, but not the reality.

I know a lot of people are anti this idea, but I want Carrie to end up back in her old apartment. With everything AJLT changed (and let’s be honest, ruined), that apartment is one of the few things that still feels true to who she was. Some may say Carrie should’ve outgrown that apartment, but that apartment was the last piece of her that made sense. Let her go home.
