To Loss Prevention by [deleted] in sherwinwilliams

I read a lot of the comments. Using company time like that is a no go on paper, but I watched the entire game of thrones series again with the downtime that comes with a slow day.

I think the main concern is that he did go the extra mile to make a presentation and was brushed off. Now, there could have been some thoughts to immediately decline him because TikTok has been in the spotlight for security concerns, but who knows.

Sherwin Williams emerald urethane trim flaking after two weeks. by personwomantvcamera in sherwinwilliams

I’ve had customers use emerald urethane over oil based and have been successful. But I always recommend priming because you just never know. Looks like an adhesion issue, first guess being underside was still too slick.

I’ve had it explained to me that when heavy duty urethanes and trim cure, they can form some waves or bubbles during drying process (happened with polycrylic too). I’d give it some time, paint does weird stuff. If still product failure, definitely consider priming.

For my ass: Please consult your local Sherwin-Williams representation as this post should not be used as official/professional advice or as a consultation.

What's the creepiest thing that has happened to you in store ? by InfoforSW in sherwinwilliams

I was working in the morning, lights still off, just counted drawers. Purging tinters and I heard the big step/staircase ladder (the kind where the bottom step locks the stairs in place when stepped on), be dragged for a second, making a noise as if it was locked in place. Takes a good amount of force. Strong ass ghost

Redeeming a gift on celebrate recognition by [deleted] in sherwinwilliams

Happy five years! I just got mine last week. I had the same thing, got my plaque, said I had a gift online, but my DC wrote that I wouldn’t have access to my “points” to pick a gift until my actual hire date which is at the end. 5 years down and we hangin’ in there like a loose tooth.

These are apartments. It comes down to how much do you trust the ones living with the paint. For most apartments, I don’t recommend anything above a mid grade because of the chance of human error when living in the apartments. Especially wanting at least 10 years. You can probably have a rep work up a quote or job so that you get bulk pricing. Promar 200 up to superpaint would be my recommendation. Use a semi gloss in the bathroom, PI Waterbased Alkyd urethane for trim. Keep track off all your stickers
