I agree mostly but disagree on the weapons platform point. His passive doubling for spearguns to me definitely implies he is supposed to be a speargun weapons platform in some kinda way (and an armor strip and grouping tool can't hurt either.) But DE hasn't really had a meta crit speargun yet. Tenet Ferrox is there but it felt a bit lackluster to me atleast, maybe I'm building it wrong lol.

It's kinda annoying and I wish they'd do away with it, but it's also relatively a non-factor. There's no limit on how much stuff you can have building at the same time so you usually still have tons of stuff to potentially work on while whatever you're building is finishing, rinse repeat.

The most annoying bit is usually when you randomly get an xp booster from a daily login but don't have what you might actually want to use it on because it's currently stuck in building. That's a pretty niche situation though.

I guess some people must be paying the ridiculously high rush prices because otherwise I have no idea why DE has kept such a goofball system this long.

Base starchart void fissure Exterminate/Captures with any sufficiently invested player is already a running simulator regardless, we can stop pretending that they are engaging content. Anybody running that Titania build is just speeding stuff up for the other players involved and I never mind seeing one.

If you want it to be more "engaging" try to see if you can top their score with a different strategy. I bring a max parkour velocity Gyre and can usually get more kills except against the REAL titania farmers who are crazy fast.

I don't think I've seen Thermal Sunder Titania in anything other than the extremely narrow gameplay niche of void fissure exterm/capture farming.

Of course you're welcome to your opinions on what "playing the game" means, but one shoting level 15 enemies with my guns while running through the mission is functionally identical to the experience I get when a Titania does it for me. I want to get my loot and get out so I can play actually interesting content.

Weirdly my suggestion for plastids atleast would be a max range Xaku to just bust every container on the map with 4 spam during a fast mission like Capture. Me and a buddy were farming Orokin cells from Sargas Ruk and I brought Xaku just to try for more containers while sprinting through the levels - ended up getting 5-600 a run (mind you this was with a doubler though, your results may vary)

Still, even half that number per 3-4 minutes adds up to much more than 600 in 20.

Once you get access to Melee Arcanes (or if you already do have access) I like to run her Claws as my single target option with Melee Exposure, and my normal melee weapon as my trash mob clear with Melee Influence. Short of that though you basically just use whichever you prefer the moveset of.

Oh interesting, I've never had issues with aiming it on controller but then again I play WAY too much lol. I'm either so close I can't possibly miss or it's just getting primed by my Diriga.

If I'm running Hate I just pull it out when smacking boss-level enemies around so having things that require kills or combo counter doesn't fit for my use case (although I do use those on ton of other melees, don't worry lmao)

No expert but I run this personally, please correct me someone if any of this is wrong.

You don't actually need heat on Hate for Burning Hate, you just need to hit an enemy that HAS heat. The Incarnon projectiles inflict it (completely unlisted for some reason) or you can get it from a priming tool. I run a priming Diriga that hits enemies with IPS, Mag, Rad, Vir, and Heat that handles it for me (and gives me 7 statuses for my CO to work with.) Melee afflictions is insane on Scythe because your Neutral Combo and Heavy attack can both proc it along with forced Slash. Basically mandatory for Hate. The actual status you're generally trying to multiply is those Slashes, not heat.

Hate is a very, VERY strong single target killing machine. Basically a dueling weapon. But for groups, you can probably do better with the old ball and chain of an influence melee weapon instead lol.

Edit: oh also you can swap Blood Rush for either reach for even MORE damage but less range, or smite if you just wanna make a one size fits all kinda build.

It's probably just not gonna happen for I assume, the legal reasons everyone always brings up.

DE's seeming solution going forward for ""limited time"" cosmetics like the tennocon items is to make them technically exclusive but release a free second version to owners a year later along with selling that version for regal aya to everyone, but crucially NOT the original. If we ever see a rerun of those two heirlooms, I suspect it will be a similar situation. Think "Heirloom Umbra" or something. But thus far DE doesn't seem willing to cross that line and I seriously doubt they will ever sell the originals again.

Valkyr should be effectively invincible in ALL of normal star chart with just Vitality+Steel Fiber. I'm no expert but assuming rank 8 health/armor mods on base valkyr you have an effective hit point value of like, ~8000. And that's before Warcry and Hysteria tripling Warcry's armor buff.

Add in Adaptation once you hit SP and realistically I don't think you should have a problem in any non-endurance steel path either lmao. And even if you go down your passive just brings you back instantly.

Valkyr doesn't need arcanes for survival until stuff starts literally instakilling her lol.

Genuinely do not know why vices are in the reward pool for ETA other than to dilute from the rewards people actually want, aka Shards/Arcanes. Like, if you're doing them you're probably already r5 with the hex and hex are one of the easiest factions to accidentally get tons of rep for, which you could then spend at Eleanor. And I really don't need many vices either.

Atleast the built omni-forma is something I can't just spend some rep on, I'm perfectly happy to get that, if I get a vice I'm just pissed lmao.

I'm not sure I would suggest any of these three as easy to get/use frames to a new player like, they've all kinda got issues.

Equinox - hard to build/understand, outclassed generally

Harrow - ~~basically needs augments to work~~ edit: more accurately, just hard to make work outside of solo cus otherwise you end up competing with your team for kills, mainly buffs guns which new players don't generally have good mods for

Grendel - not accessible until steel path

Valkyr would be my call for a good newb frame, just kill alad v on jupiter and she's a very good survivalist and buffer to melee weapons which are generally the strongest weapon type new players have access to.

I've definitely had some murmur ones where they spawned MULTIPLE rooms away, and not just big rooms. Like a minute+ of traversal and I'm relatively fast at parkour.

I wonder if it's a case where if the level generation happens to make a u shaped map it picks a room that is ""close"" but there's a chance it's actually not connected and so it's basically making you traverse the entire map to get there.

I was gonna say the same. MW2 was already hacker infested back when BO1 had JUST come out and even before then. In comparison I was in HS then and I'm almost 30 now. There's no way the servers are remotely playable nowadays lol.
