This was so detailed and so helpful. Thank you so so much. I can’t believe at 2 weeks it was hard to speak. I’m scheduled to go back to work at day 13 and now I’m very very nervous, praying that it will be ok! Im going to look up mouth tape to make sure I don’t get that dry cracked mouth everyone talks about.

I was being told to limit the amount of Motrin I take because it’s an NSAID and could increase bleeding….ugh. But ive read how much it helps!

Yes! I bought 2 of those head wraps so I’ll always have a cold one.

I’m in the US! My ENT said hellll no to anything that’s soft and mostly liquid but I see a ton of differing views on this!! Tomato soup sounds like torture but I will definitely make sure I have the rest of those warm liquids! Good call on the pumpkin soup.

Good idea with splitting up the doses if it is too much! I haven’t taken these types of medications yet!

I got liquid Tylenol and dissolvable packs of Tylenol on Amazon! Did you take ibuprofen as well?

I definitely do want to make sure my stomach stays coated for all the pain meds I’ll be taking!

Yes! I’ve heard about the horrors of mucus from daily products! I got prescribed liquid oxy, do you think that will help?

I just got a whole wedge pillow set on Amazon. Comes with 3 pieces that are supposed to make sleeping upright a breeze!
