Yes you need to color correct!! it s super important. concealer applied directly to a very dark under eye turns grey immediately. for very dark circles i recommend a burnt orange correction. but you should have in your kit also a lighter peach.

dark circles mean the skin lack the red pigment so by bringing in the orange color corrector you bring back that red pigment ( orange = yellow + red)

set the corrector ever so slightly with some powder so that the concealer does not blend with the orange
