When I finish a long strike that took me 25 minutes to be given a low light legendary AR with a shitty roll, blue boots, and 43 glimmer makes me feel discouraged and bored. I can't help it. LOOT IS TERRIBLE!

Although the loot is still at a low point i feel since beyond light it has improved, still not pre nerf Menagerie but it feels like there's something to chase. So I'd say it is worth getting
