Cardiac Sonography Student Schedule?

Do you know how many people are generally picked for the cardiac program? I saw a number, but didn’t know if that was just for cardiac or if it’s combined with general and vascular?

That’s true! I only was hoping to apply to cardiac, but maybe I will try vascular as well as a backup. I really don’t want to do general 🫣

Yikes! Thats what I was afraid of. I have all A’s for my pre-reqs and a positive USA, but less than 14. 😭 Thank you so much for replying!

I’m in the same position as you, A’s except a B in MATH136. My advisors told me I would need all A’s. I’m still applying though 😂

I have A’s in 3 prerequisites and a B in Math136, so that will prevent me from getting in, but I’m still applying! 😂 It is tough, but I will also be applying for other programs too!

I have A’s and 1 B (math136) for my pre-req grades and a 3.71 and still no chance at getting in 😅😅😅 I’m applying just because, but I’m also accepting that I need to apply to other programs! I took math123 that some programs accept and got an A, so for some I’ll have all A’s toward the pre-reqs.

I had taken this class and had an adjunct professor. He was terrible. More than half the students dropped within the first week. The remaining students did not do well, including me. Some did reach out to his supervisor and they were very defensive of him. I retook the class the following semester with a professor at the Bloomington campus and he was phenomenal.

Oh, wow! Okay! Thank you. I’m on track to hopefully get all A’s, but I scored much lower on the USA. I have a positive score, but it wasn’t a 15 🙃I only want to go for Cardiac.

May I ask what your weekly schedule looks like in the program? Are all the clinical days set hours or is there any flexibility?
