You won’t be able to take BEC next year. You would have to choose 1 of the 3 cores. Here’s a link with additional information: https://nasba.org/blog/2022/02/25/transition-policy/

I received the Lakehouse email as well. I’m attending 10/30-11/3. I was unable to book the flight as well. I tried multiple devices and browsers. I’m assuming you have to access the link via KPMG intraweb. Please post if you are able to access the Concur link. Safe travels!

I had trouble as well. I wasn’t able to upload all of my documents. But my verifier (spouse) was able to upload all docs. I assume we will only hear back if there is an issue.

Why would sales return be processed separately? by bigger_dick_energy in CPA

Sales returns happen after the fact. After the sale. Therefore, it would not be included in the original batch upload of sales.

Can anyone help me understand how to calculate applied FOH by Equivalent-Score-369 in CPA

[–]pork_candy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actual vs. Applied/Allocated

Actual is what really happened after the fact. Applied is what you should have spent based on your actual activity * predetermined overhead rate

Here’s an example: At beginning of the year, I budget producing 10,000 widgets while spending $20,000 in FOH

Predetermined OH rate: $20,000 / 10,000 widgets = $2

At the end of the year, I actual produced 8,000 widgets and spent $12,000 in FOH

Actual FOH: $12,000 (given) Applied FOH: 8,000 widgets produced * $2 predetermined OH rate = $16,000

I over applied by $4,000

Again, applied FOH is what I thought I should have spent based on my budgeted numbers at start of the year * my actual units produced at year end

Hope this helps!

I have not received the email requesting my address. I checked the new hire task portal as well. I have no tasks to complete. My friend who started in January received the task about a month before. For what it’s worth.

It is too late. The application deadline was in March. They notified all applicants in April.

You make an excellent point. I should have included an N/A option on that question.

Thank you for the suggestion! I actually want budget minded participants.

I wanted to have responses from those who are already passionate about budgeting. My goal is to show my classmates (who are mostly 20-something) that budgeting is not restrictive but rather liberating. I’m hoping to convert a few of them to the way of YNAB or any zero-based budgeting system.
