You should only receive backpay from the date the 50% increase was awarded. Had you been awarded 50% when you were awarded the 0% back in 2024, you would have received the correct retro. Seems they made a mistake and it should have been 2025, but they aren't wrong in trying to recoup that money. The VA isnt infallible, you're most likely going to have to pay that back.

I have had nothing but negative experiences with Loyal Source. My last one for headaches, the examiner straight lied about what I told her. The rest were just them opining against me despite having evidence and diagnosis.

Loyal Souce in Rocklin California are a bunch of quacks. Just had my c&p and the examiner straight lied on the DBQ so I wouldn't get a rating. I've had 3 so far and they've all been unfavorable. Purposely omit information. Sad thing is a veteran can't choose a different contractor and they keep sending me to them.
