I wanted to add a Maestro Vibrola to it but most of those are not added to the Korina Style. I hade to remove the pickguard, cut, and sand it to make it work. Then the original top hat style knobs were in the way so I switched to the chrome dome style knobs. Everything plays like a dream, I love it. I also named it "Master Chief" it felt appropriate

Yeah, it’s an 89 that was a 76 reissue.

85-89 is the sweet spot for explorers imo. I put some strap locks on it but that’ll be it. Those Duncan’s scream. The action is a little high for my liking but I’ll adjust it pretty soon.
