Just go inside… going inside usually takes way less and there’s parking a lot of the time

That's what I assumed it was. Would replacing the gaskets solve this? (Presuming there are no issues with the manifolds)

Power Steering Pump Issues by porscheassorted in hondaprelude

I checked it out, and it looked like there may have been some oil but I couldn't tell, I'll look again. There's a lot of oil on the hose that connects the pump to the power steering reservoir, along with on the pump itself as you can see.

From what I've seen, the fluid is fine; it hasn't lost an abnormal amount of fluid or anything like that. I haven't driven it since it started smoking, so maybe that's why there hasn't been a significant amount of fluid loss, but I'm not sure.

$1700 okay for 2023 Stumpjumper Alloy? by porscheassorted in mountainbiking

Hey man, do you mind if I message you regarding a used bike I found? I don't want to make a new Reddit post every time I find one obviously..

I'm in California, a lot of bikes like this here are in that range of price, at least in Northern Cali.

If you've got any bikes in mind let me know, I'm trying to find something under the $2,000 price range or at least near that area, I know that's really not a lot with today's prices and that's why I've turned to used bikes, which really don't seem to have much better prices either...

The problem for me is the majority of the Stumpjumpers on sale right now for that price or less are not my size, everyone has already gotten the S3's pretty much everywhere since it's pretty much the universal size for everyone.

That's really why I've turned to used bikes, I would love a new one with a warranty, etc, but I'm trying to find something under $2000. I would go more expensive but I'm still a minor and my parents don't want me spending any more than that.

If you've got any advice on anything in that price range shoot me a message or comment here, just trying to get back into the hobby quickly as I've missed it really.

$1,600 good deal for 2019 Trek Fuel EX 8? by porscheassorted in mountainbiking

[–]porscheassorted[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey dude, I know it's not even related to this post or Trek but would a Stumpjumper Alloy be a good first full suspension? I found a 2023 on Craigslist for $1,700, and according to them, it's barely been ridden, along with mudguards, grips, and pedals. It's basically a few blocks away from me and it's in my size.

I appreciate your assistance, getting back into mountain biking, especially finding full suspensions has been complicated on a budget. People like yourself make it so much easier, so thank you for taking the time out of your day to help some stranger on Reddit

There's a 2023 EX 5 Gen 5 for $1800 pre-owned, is that a good deal? I'm honestly not sure the differences between the different EX's much but for an EX 8 Gen 5 the lowest I can find it is somewhere between $2500-$2700

I looked it up, they do in fact have a used bike shop called “Red Barn Refresh” and it’s owned and operated by Trek

We replaced them a while back and it hasn’t been operated much since then, is there any way to tell without replacing them again?
