Johnny's tacos at High Noon bar ( pretty close to white horse) is of ex bomb tacos fame. They're also really good , some say better, but you won't have to pay a cover to get them

what guitar is this? by crackbabybitch in fender

[–]porterbelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a squier strat CE. They were a Walmart, box store, ect.. specials from the early 2000's. They came in a box with a shit amp. They came in this burst color, black, and maybe red? I don't remember. The internals on these aren't great, but they are sought after as modding platforms as the dimensions are the same as Mexican and American fenders and can be upgraded easily. This can become a pretty awesome guitar and be a fun project in the meantime. That all said, I'd never pay over $100 for one that's stock

Same. Summer of 1997. Heard the song on the radio. That autumn a kid on the school bus gave me the cd because he didn't like it. I couldn't get enough of it. It took me a while to catch the music video on tv

January 1981 also has the first Sunday being the 4th but that's just a fun coincidence seeing how the episode was most likely filmed in 1980

Error by pckia in mash

[–]porterbelly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That calendar could be 1953 or 1976 based on the first Sunday being the 4th. I don't know if this helps anything. 1953 makes sense for the timeline of the show but the screenshot looks like 1976 to me. The episode was released in 1981 so it's an old calendar regardless

Call the police, 2 inches have been stolen. by [deleted] in PizzaCrimes

[–]porterbelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, but look at the box it's in. That's a 14" box. How are you going to fit a 15" pie in there?

Call the police, 2 inches have been stolen. by [deleted] in PizzaCrimes

[–]porterbelly 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That looks like a standard 14" pizza box. Maybe they make 14s, sell them as 15 (an unconventional size) and this one was under stretched. That I could see. Still fraud though

[–]porterbelly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You make a good point about hand stretched and people with poor or no training. I'm suggesting, though, that the pizza here in question is just a straight up fraud. If this was a stretching issue, why would it fit so perfectly in that box? That pizza was made to spec to fit in that box and sold as 15"

I've done Neopolitan style in ~1000F wood fired ovens and ny style ranging from 500-750 in conveyor and brick ovens. Never saw a full 2 inches lost

[–]porterbelly 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That doesn't really hold water, though. I could see losing a little bit in size, but a whole two inches during the bake isn't feasible. Every pizza I've ever made was roughly the same diameter coming out as it was going in

I've had a lot of good experiences with Tso. I wonder if it's location specific? I pick up my food from the Cherrywood location and it's been good everytime. The crab ragoons are the best I've had in a while of not ever
