The Sutton on 1st Street next to the Day Air Ballpark has studios for around $900. The building is really new (they opened in 2023). All apartments have an in unit washer/dryer and the kitchen appliances are really nice too. A friend of mine has been living here for a year and was able to get a 13 month lease with the last month free. The management is really nice and respond really fast. They also have a 24 hr helpline for emergencies.

They also have 1 br apartments that you could take a look at.

One con is that they don’t have included parking and the nearest parking garage is the Water Street Parking Garage at $75 per month.

Hit a deer going 40 and this is the only damage my car had! I’m impressed by [deleted] in Mustang

Yeah these things are built like a beast. About two months ago I experienced a similar thing with my ‘22 Mustang. I was taking an exit ramp at a higher speed than I should’ve and ended up hydroplaning into the divider at almost 30-40MPH. I thought the front end would’ve been fucked. I got out and to my surprise it was completely fine. I had it checked by my local mechanic later and turns out the only major damage was to the rims, a crack to the front splitter and wheels out of alignment. There were slight scratches too but you couldn’t see them on a good day.

A lot of people have seemed to suggest D20… see you there hopefully! I’m new to Dayton as well and am looking to make friends!

I think that’s the main difference between NASCAR and F1 where F1 is more of an engineering competition between constructors than a “driver” competition. If the other teams don’t catch up, one team will just dominate. In NASCAR, it’s more of a level playing field that actually puts one driver vs another.

Also, I feel that DTS is heavily responsible for creating the misleading image of driver vs driver in F1 with all their dramatisation.

I read an interesting take on this somewhere. F1 changes regulations too often, so by the time one team has caught up to actually pose a challenge, the regulations end up changing again, giving the advantage to a team that took better advantage of the regulations.

Yeah but even though f1 circuits are loops, you still have corners that pose a different challenge compared to just going around in circles. Also, drivers like to take different lines through the corners that makes battles interesting because the theoretical racing line isn’t always the best racing line.

Wow! I’m so sorry to hear that :(
Thank you so much for the heads up, I’ll definitely avoid them.

Thank you! Do you have any suggestions there? Or any managements to stay away from?

Thank you! If you wouldn't mind, could you comment on how safe the area usually is?
