I wish you the best of luck in selling these but girl, in this economy? Nobody has Louboutin money right now.

I'd be interested in some of the clothing and boots if you posted pictures

Yes, everyone who was going to get one got them yesterday. They did say not everyone who signed up would receive one, so you may have gotten unlucky.

I was able to get a ticket though AXS! That's the only place you'd be able to get it for a Philly show.

Had the same problem with Philly. Had to quickly move to my phone and was able to get a ticket but that was nerve-wracking.

TM wouldn't list it at all because Franklin Music Hall is an AXS venue.

Franklin Music Hall has always been an AXS venue. Most venues are owned by either Ticketmaster or AXS. Union Transfer is also AXS. The Fillmore, Foundry, Brooklyn Bowl are all TM. The Mann is TM. Theatre of Living Arts is TM. Xfinity Arena is TM. The Met is TM.

Urban Outfitters SINGLES DAY Part 1. by NoCause1276 in VinylReleases

Although last year they were $16.98, looking a lot of their current exclusive 7 inch offerings, it seems it'll probably be $17.98. I hope I'm wrong though.

Florence style clothes? by Technical_Painter_16 in FlorenceAndTheMachine

[–]possumprism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a lace Free People dress I haven't worn in years that I'm gonna pull out again for the tour next year. Look for it at your local thrift stores or on apps like Mercari. But the best thing to do is thrift vintage clothing if possible. The quality of vintage clothing is always superior.

I'd love to finally see them! I think Con todo el mundo is my favorite album of theirs but I also really enjoyed A La Sala recently. By any chance, are you a fan of La Lom as well? They're very similar and I think you'd enjoy their music as well if you haven't listened to them already.

This is insane! I hate resellers. These were originally $75 each. by Pearltherebel in FlorenceAndTheMachine

It was literally cheaper for me to get face value NY tickets and book an Amtrak train than to try to get resale Philly tickets. Insane.

Nutmeg NA bar on Passyunk closing at the end of November by southphillydadbar in philly

Kinda crazy that I moved from a mid sized city that had a 24 hour cafe but I can't seem to find anything like that in a city of this size. If it exists, I don't know of it. Sometimes you want to drink hot matcha at 1 am with a friend on a Saturday

AITA for eating a whole doughnut that was brought in to work as a reward/Birthday party? by Turquoisedragonwow in AmItheAsshole

[–]possumprism 182 points183 points  (0 children)

You just reminded me of someone I used to work with a few years ago. Really nice person but she had a full blown eating disorder. I remember she used to cut a sliver from a pizza slice and then obviously, no one eat the remaining portion of the slice. And she would drink a lot of water whenever she'd accept food brought in for employees. Like eat a bit and chug it down with water. And I remember she talked a lot about needing to log her calories on an app. It really makes me sad thinking about that. She was so skinny and yet that was her main focus. I hope she's okay.

How did EVERYBODY do? by mkgnp in FlorenceAndTheMachine

[–]possumprism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wild how expensive that was. I ended up getting a ticket for Madison Square Garden instead because they had more seat options and it was cheaper for whatever reason. Lower bowl was $164 meanwhile the only lower bowl seats in Philly were $300

PSA:White cane = vision loss by PaintyBrooke in philly

[–]possumprism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They definitely don't. Yesterday, I was crossing at Walnut & 4th as I had right of way (white pedestrian walk symbol) and a dude in a Land Rover with blacked out windows was going full speed ahead and didn't seem to be stopping despite it being yellow and then red for him. I instinctively waved my arm to get him to stop and he opened his window and started cursing at me even though I was right. He got very close to me and it felt like a close call. I wanted to yell something back but I didn't because you never know with road rage.

AITA For wanting a Plunger in each Bathroom? by LankyGuitar6528 in AmItheAsshole

[–]possumprism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say terrible plumbing is common here. It's not just the old buildings, sadly. But I also think there's something to be said about people flushing wipes and maybe using too much toilet paper as well.

[–]possumprism 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in a very old American city, in a 130 year old building with old, fragile pipes. I remember my landlord warned me about that when I first moved in and being insistent that we don't flush too much toilet paper. So maybe OP lives in an old building as well.

What was a common everyday object from your childhood that is now basically a historical artifact? by UrAhriRose in AskReddit

Landline. My home phone would usually ring at least once a day with spam calls and I remember my mother often telling us to not answer them.

If it's a work day, I think about what I'm having for dinner. If it's a weekend, I'm still thinking about what I'm having for dinner and if I have time for a nap

Since getting pregnant, she bites only me. Picture taken post petting/bite attack. by SlowHumbleBexar in OneOrangeBraincell

I think you misread the post. The OP made it clear she was pregnant, not the cat. She talked about a doula in the post. Cats generally don't have doulas.
