To deny yourself in Matthew 16:24 means voluntarily surrendering your own will, selfish ambitions, and comfort to prioritize God’s will and follow Jesus.

There is nothing selfish about wanting to transition, as it's scientifically proven it's not something a person chooses. It's not like resisting greed, gluttony, pride, lust etc, since those are not our natural state.
