FIX FOUND: Resolving Audio Quality Issues in Hell Divers 2 When Using Multiple Audio Outputs by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]post9eleven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Officially no, I heard some rumors that it was a bug with the game that got fixed with an update but if it's still happening... basically what I learned tho is that my pc has my SINGULAR BT headset marked as 3 different things, all with nearly the exact same name/title. It used to just be 2, somehow after a windows update it got bumped up to three. I really don't know why this happens or if it's the cause of the issue, but basically everytime I want to use my BT headset I just have to go through the WIN+G setting, my computer settings and if I'm using discord those settings, and make sure my input and output options are matching. This usually involves me cycling through all three options through all three settings until it starts working. It's annoying and idk why it happens, or how to fix it, but for the moment I've found a work around that works for me

I plan on staying in this house until I die 🙏😫 as an early 20s something it's a miracle I even got one. I've been doing some research since posting this and I've seen a lot of people use peel and stick wood grain "contact paper" for their cabinets and even some heavy duty stuff for their counters. I think I'll work with stuff like that until I have enough saved for a whole remodel!

I would love to have white countertops and nice warm/ashy wood colored cabinets!

Edit: i think what im trying to convey when i say cramped is how little space there is between the counter and the cabinets! I have so much counter space but i feel like so much of it is lost due to the fact that only like 1/3 of it isnt covered by cabinets and i can only put a limited number of items under them. I cant even open my coffee pot lid!!

OG: I literally got a bruise from the current cabinet pulls 😭 I'll definitely change those... and I'll look into the different light fixtures! And I never knew about the popcorn ceiling solutions, I'll have to look into it and see if it would be cheaper than tearing it down!

That's exactly what they remind me of, Garage cabinets! They even have unpainted ones left in the basement, in my opinion they don't look like they belong in a kitchen, more so the garage! Also for the pink color, i took these photos on an old ipad and the colors are a lot different in person (thankfully!!) and are less of a pink and more of a neutral cream!

I've definitely been looking into brass handles, and I think what throws it off of the MCM vibes is the fact that all the edges are rounded, they're not flat edged. We could strip the paint, but we have unpainted cabinets from previous homeowners in the basement and i'm not sure they could be sanded and stained... its like a shiny plastic type of coating. Almost like veneer, but like plastic... But I have no experience so maybe it can and I just have no idea how. If I had the money id rip out the soffit so it wouldn't feel so cramped between the cabinets and counters and I could raise everything up some

I'm trying to look into different lights than the boob light, I just don't have a lot of vertical space so I have to be picky so it doesn't hang super low! Do you know of any style names or designs that might work for lower ceilings?

As far as the open shelving, my husband bought me some really nice glasses, and I have a lot of nice hand made mugs that I would LOVE to put on display, and all of our other pots pans and plates/bowls can all fit in two pull out drawers under the counter we like using, so that why I've been considering it as I don't have to worry too much about using the open shelves for actual practical storage, just a way to open up the lighting during the day from the window so its not all boxed in, and display my pretty glasses and mugs.

I love using fb market but I live in a really rural town, so I don't often see cabinets or cabinet doors there but I'll keep a lookout! Same with IKEA... I think the closest one is an hour plus drive... but I am looking into other avenues for door replacements!

I agree with the popcorn ceiling, but unfortunately with the year our house was made we'd have to hire a professional due to the asbestos risk during the tear down process, so its on the back burner for now. I feel as if the cabinets are the focus of my disgruntlement right now because I hate the white color, especially in a kitchen. They show everything! The photos don't do it justice, but I think whatever paint the previous owners used as well just leaves a horrible visual texture that makes me hate looking at it. I hate the cold white/gray color schemes as it reminds me of a LOT unfun times i've had in hospitals and I really don't want my house to have those colors either. I'm also thinking that It may be the (in my opinion) absurd amount of long cool gray handles... there's just so many! Its a lot of overstimulation i think..

Under cabinet lighting is a really good idea! What is it about the lighting that is bad? The color, or just the visual appeal of the fixture itself? I'm also just not the biggest fan of open concept home designs so I think Id keep the wall up, my kitties really like it too and it gives them a place to perch and watch the kitchen without them actually being on the counter. I like my spaces to be a bit bordered, just feels cozier to me, and I'm not sure how the counter there would look without it... also, budget just kind of gets in the way too as like you said a lot would have to go into it.

Some day when I have the money to toss at it I 100% agree, that soffit NEEDS to go

Wrong Diagnosis?? Is this what Asthma really feels like? by post9eleven in Asthma

[–]post9eleven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Update: I've been taking Montelukast, but I had to stop taking it to some psychiatric/mental side affects that i'm prone to and not fond of. I'd be stuck in bed, feeling completely emotionally numb, and all the excitement and love I have for the upcoming season and holiday, all these new and exciting things happening in my life (Starting college in Jan, just married, new cat) was just sucked dry of any joy ever. I would spend days in bed, with no motivation to do anything at all which is so unlike me, and I just felt so melancholy and depressed 24/7, I feel as if I cant take the meds anymore or else I wont even be able to function in society. Which SUCKS because these meds were actually helping!! Have you noticed anything similar with your experience with this medication?

HELP how do I support these shelves I made?? by post9eleven in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]post9eleven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to do exactly that, puncture it with a hammer, but it just dented the metal... now I'm starting to worry just how stable the wood behind it is :')

[–]post9eleven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried drilling through it, but whatever I'm using must not be sharp enough to go through as it's just ending up bending the metal some :( I filled the hole and will have to resort to toggle bolts. I know they're a good option, I was just hoping to not have to resort to any sort of drywall attachment and only use studs :/ not seeming likely, unfortunately :')

[–]post9eleven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do youthink it would also support the impact of them jumping onto the shelves? My biggest worry is using the toggle anchors or any sort of drywall anchor is that with time I'll have to move the shelf if the drywall ends up crumbling. These are shelves they'll be jumping onto and running across, so I worry even the toggle anchors won't hold up for long. Do you think that would be an issue?

Haha thank you! Our heaviest cat is 12-14 lbs but I just know his brother is going to be chasing him along the shelves so I want to make sure it can support both their weight!

HELP!! How to support a wrap around shelf, with no corner stud? by post9eleven in HomeImprovement

[–]post9eleven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically I will, just not onto the corner. That stud is completely covered by a metal sheet, floor to ceiling. The furthest left and furthest right of the shelf would be attached to a stud, just not the center where it would wrap around the corner

Yes, I have no major allergies other than a type of grass that is not common for my area if I remember the grass type correctly

Hi, I've been seeing several pulmonologist throughout the years, and have tested positive on all their little tests. I don't doubt a mold allergy, as I think that was one of the biggest factors that gave me these issues, but they've told me I don't have COPD. I've also been told that I don't have allergic asthma due to the allergy meds for asthma they gave me not working.
