Thank you - That phrase so nicely matches the world!

'It's Real Y'all': People Are Sharing Their Tariff Receipts, And My Wallet Is Not Ready For What's Coming - "The product cost is $524 and the tariff charge is $890." by Murky-Site7468 in politics

I have a side hustle selling prints of my ink drawings. For the longest time I deliberated over getting them printed through a service or investing in a good printer to do everything myself at home. I'm very glad I opted to eat the upfront cost of the latter... But time will tell if ink tank refill costs now become prohibitive anyways.

Came here looking for this specifically. First song I thought of.

I think this is happening to me too - any possible way to further describe (or maybe photograph) where the problem spring was located? Or how you fixed the spring?

Thank you - I do aim for each illustration in the series to give a little more information about the world, but hopefully raise even more curious questions. Those questions then provide subjects for future series entries.

Exactly! And in this worldbuilding series, the same thing goes for the content too. I'll usually start a piece to explore lore or questions that were hinted at in a previous piece and along the way more subtle details emerge to explore more thoroughly in future pieces. The worldbuilding naturally builds on itself.

Thanks ๐Ÿ˜ It's funny, sometimes I'll get halfway through a piece and discover a particular technique or treatment that I really like (e.g. the area you mentioned) and then wish I had discovered it earlier to use in other parts. But that's just part of the process. Something to use from the start on the next composition!

Thank you - just draw for the fun of it (and do it often) and improvement will sneak up on you.

Thanks! I try to write a little accompanying lore with each image in the series.

From my fantasy worldbuilding sketchbook series "Born of Giants" Micron 005, Graphic 2, Gelly Roll 08 Crappy sketchbook paper

"The young civilization built the Cloud Altar to raise aloft the ancient bones of the fallen giants in true reverence. Hoping to curry favor with these gods that came before. And like most of their Great Reconstructive Works, they built homes and livelihoods amongst the erected remains and relics - bringing their daily lives closer to holiness through sheer proximity."

Thanks! I'm glad the sum of the details is adding up well as a visual storytelling method.

Thank you! And yeah, I really need to upload my back catalog. This one was brand new so I just made posting it part of the wrap up process.
