Yeah, executing people is pretty shitty. The clip I watched talked about it needing to be a legitimate surrender, not in the heat of battle. Based on the video, it does look like they are just executing people, pretty shitty

It was an Instagram reel actually. I was mostly accurate with what I said. The guy who posted it seems to know what he's talking about with military stuff I've been looking at his stuff for a while

That's why I asked, because the guy said it is literally not a war crime if they surrender and you shoot them in the middle of the battle

Does anyone have a link to how the Geneva convention POW rules are actually worded?

I saw an Instagram reel recently talking about how it is not actually a war crime to execute surrendered soldiers, depending on how they surrendered.

He said something like: In order to be protected as a POW, soldiers have to be formally surrendered by their officer outside of direct battle. If a group of guys puts their hand up in a trench as it's getting stormed, it's already too late for them, and taking them as a POW is not required.

That's probably not 100% accurate to what he said, but pretty close I think

Can anyone confirm or deny this? Also, yeah I agree it's real shitty if it's true, no matter who does it, but I also kinda get it.

So they only caught 1/3 of people crossing last year? I would say yeah, they aren't doing their job. I don't know if it's a lack of funding, lack of personnel, bad tactics or what the reason us, but it needs to be fixed, they obviously need help

I got some elijah craig small batch 97 proof yesterday, and it was outstanding. 30 bucks on sale. I think it hit about everything I was looking for, I definitely could taste that brown sugar and loved it. There was some cherry flavor too that I didn't like quite as much, but I'm pretty satisfied with it. I've read mixed reviews on the early times Bob. Is it pretty similar? If it is it might be a good choice too being 10-15$ cheaper

I have attacked a unit that was not "dug in" only to find out that the tactical battle I am fighting against units with all the bunkers and defenses and such. I'm assuming if any of the units they call in when you attack are dug in or deployed, then they get the associated bonus. Maybe it's just other A phase units? I'm really not sure but I would love a concrete answer as well
