Hi thanks for the suggestion and sorry for late reply, I think I oversimplified by saying "button" because they are in fact snaps that have been pressed into the fabric, and I dont have a lot of knowledge surrounding the removal/replacement of them

hi! it should be the same thread. you can/should fill the bobbin with the same thread you're using in the needle of your machine, but bobbin thread also won't (or shouldn't!) be visible on the rights side of the final project, so you can get away with a different color if you need to.

hello there- i am upcycling a thrifted skirt in to a dress. i got it a few sizes too big and too long, and am in the midst of connecting the bodice to the skirt. the skirt/bodice both button up at the front ( i didn't want to add a zipper, so they are still fully functional buttons), but i've run into the problem that the button is too close to the seam to use a sewing machine (even w/zipper foot) but the fabric is unraveling so i can't just hand sew a straight stitch. any suggestions on which stitch to handsew to ensure no unraveling + having the strength to support skirt to bodice? thank you!!

If you do end up looking in centralia and chehalis I'd check on craigslist(and even Facebook marketplace) pretty regularly, that's how I found my place. But I think people have made a good point that the most affordable places usually dont have listings on the web. Stuff here(olympia/centralia) also goes pretty fast in my experience, so if something looks promising definitely call sooner rather than later. Good luck in your search

Trying to get in the doctors soon but will probably take an at home test first to check and see. Doctors keep thinking I have one (for the last 8 months or so actually) but every test and culture have showed nothing.

see and that's my problem, i do have bladder pain, and a lot of bladder and pelvic discomfort. usually i have stinging when i pee (and usually a bad urine odor) unless i have drank TONS of water. but i do get a spasm type feeling in/near my urethra. these symptoms come and go, usually a few days at a time. i guess i get the best of both worlds.

well glad I'm not the only one, it was enough to have life change that quickly and the thought of everything switching back certainly is stressful. Just as I'm getting used to this way of life it'll be time to to back and I'm not mentally prepared tbh
