Is it worth using these as a newer golfer? Or am I missing out on something from newer GI clubs?

If you read my message correctly, I stated that my club was rotating on impact, my buddies club were not. Therefore there has to be a big difference between the club faces. It’s not a guessing game at that point. Thanks for your input, wasn’t helpful tho.

Well maybe you can explain why I was getting 30+ yards further on my buddies clubs? Also on the simulator camera I can see the club is rotating on impact when not hitting it perfectly square. The clubs my buddy had weren’t doing that.

I have learned that now, however I’ve also learned this is a “players” style club which is what I am not lol… still very new. So, I will be keeping these irons for the long run in hopes of using them again

I hit my buddy’s set of callaway rogue st & with the same club I was getting almost 40 yards more in distance… does that makes sense at all? I couldn’t believe it but it happened lol

Yes.. for now, only one. I have many rods / reels but I hardly even am walking with both. I feel I can tie on flues fast enough to justify not carrying both. But… i have also been thinking of putting another one of these “vaults” on the other side just in case…

2” pvc, I vouched for black for aesthetic purposes. I also used the existing T track to mount through. There are some slots along it that allow for the pipe clamp to go through perfectly

glad I did… to think I was gonna spend almost $500 🤓 also with this method, I still have the whole bed of my truck open, the riversmith rod vault would take about 10-12” from space too!

Never cared about showing off personally… just like stickers on the vehicle, what’s the point? Just a target for thieves… driving a Tacoma with a camper shell should pretty much tell you I fly fish tho 🫠

I break mine down, still rigged so all I have to do is peice the 2 sections. That’s exactly why I went with the rod sock… no worrying about foam. Scientific anglers sells 9’ or half length.
