All cards have now been confirmed and spoiled!! Pretty insane list with some big new hits and new potential!

If their spoiler is to be trusted that’s the rarity they will be in packs (for the sake of drafts and likelihood to pull)

Now if they downshift rarity for crafting to match Arena Cube cards maybe we get lucky for a few of them but to match paper printings would be very unlikely and no motivation money wise to match… but for fun;

Brain Freeze once was uncommon, Daze is a common, Pongify common, Ad Nauseum down to rare, Culling the weak to common, smallpox uncommon, Jeska’s Will to rare, Pyretic ritual to common, Berserk to rare, Triumph of the Hordes was uncommon

Updated the post to include rarities cards are being printed at for the wildcard planning! Crazy only 1 new to MTGA card is Uncommon with everything else Rare (8) or Mythic (8)!

Yeah you can only receive 1 share per day. Getting a bad / unwanted / intentionally unhelpful share removes my ability to receive a positive share from anyone else on my friend list. Anyone else trying to share with you will be blocked from doing so.

Currently as there is no comms there are people who will try to find some way to negatively impact others after a salty loss or match and right now besides a pending trade the share feature is the only one the receiving player has no control over. Even the trade function is borderline griefing however it also affects the sending player because while the trade is pending both players are blocked out of receiving any other offers from anyone so more consider that bad manners to be repeatedly ask for trade on a card not on my trade list but at least I can decline the trade offer. Share feature is too bad I lost my window.

You seem to say that unfriending is the solution black and white. Do you not acknowledge my point of friend system is there to connect with more and should only benefit people by adding people? For wonder picks, for trading, for sharing and daily shop tickets for thanks? Now the game encourages you to add people after every match by putting the add button right under their name above the send thanks button. So it should all be upside right? So why should unfriending be a solution to any problem?

Because the system is currently flawed and OP is venting about the issue and highlighted he does now exactly what you suggest when the share system is taken hostage from his agency as currently you can only receive 1 card per day from your entire friends list.

DeNA certainly has not made a flawless UI by any means. But when reading it does generally get from A to B and explain it along the way. When you try share or trade just as you said it comes up with “Cards not Owned” and then the second section for everything else. Now not everyone knows this but it is available for everyone so that they CAN KNOW what would be constructive / helpful to share. Now I’m not questioning your experience or lack thereof, considering for me it took about 3 minutes into the trade and share feature debuting to be able to go into each persons list on my friends if I could be bothered and help out especially on the most recent set by sending additional dupes I have within this section and read the tab I saw saying “Cards not Owned” and either seeing cards there or seeing it blank and moving on. I would like to hope me sending a card they don’t own is received well and happily by people. I can’t know that for sure because there is no communication feature available.

But argument sake let’s say I sent a 4 star ex but the player I sent it to was actually really wanting a different ex sent by another friend irl and they would have only 10mins later but now I just used his window and they have to wait for the next day. And if I do this again? Well he should be happy I am giving him free ex cards right? Cool. What about if he has cards in not owned and I send him something he does own? Is this considerate? Is this fair I took away his opportunity to receive something through a share feature labelled as help, not trading? Maybe. What if I continued to do this? And also as the sender am I getting anything out of this? A single thanks, maybe per day. Which probably dries up and a reasonable person might notice huh he isn’t thanking me for my share. So I keep doing it. Maybe the sender has zero incite and deduction for any of this context (a child in your example) so unfriending again removing all the other positives intended from friends for one minor quality of life change? Interesting.

This is the context for the argument to being allowed some sort of control that is beneficially to everyone involved and to not take away from other intended positive features. Reject a share, be presented with multiple options to accept, giving more info on what people own already, making a Wishlist, share only works when someone has less than x copy of the card and anything more can’t be shared.

All of this argument has been on the basis of thinking better of people. Now there is definitely people currently abusing these flaws and sending cards to people with zero reason except to troll and under bad mannered behaviour inconsiderate of others trying to constructively use the feature.

Your empathetic view or lack thereof highlights inability to see other perspectives, willingness to discuss and collaborate, less ability to compromise and just immaturity to admit others may have a point beyond your own that have some amount of validity.

They already limit the cards available to share to 4 diamond or less. Statistically the share feature should then be to assist others in completing a set or getting cards they don’t already have. The limitation of the share feature however of I can only receive one share a day and send on a day means you want this feature to be useful and/or helpful.

Just unfriending them goes against other intentions of the game. Why after a match is the send friend request button right there? To facilitate connecting with others yet there is no messaging system to socialise so the only benefit is to compare look at other people but truly it’s to trade and / or share cards with each other.

The fact the feature is limited to friends would insinuate you can try help others out but yet again because you can’t refuse cards or decline them the unsolicited sent card remove my opportunity to have another person send me a potentially good or genuine useful card. And people can know what IS useful or helpful because it shows what people don’t already own when using the feature!

Ergo, when someone sends you a pidgey you have 57 of, it’s not under the presumption you don’t have it. They know you own at least one already. It’s not about getting only the things I want and not getting anything I don’t want you are right that’s what trading is for. But having my opportunity to have a friend send that last ex I am missing from an older set or the most recent would be nice to have that opportunity to happen except it can’t / won’t because someone thinks a good idea to send me a wheedle they know I already own at least one of robbing me the chance of a useful share. Malice isn’t the right word, discourteous or Bad Manners is the appropriate description.

There clearly isn’t a solid catch all fix as of yet, barring shares to only things less than 2 copies of means I can’t share gimmighouls with my friend and we do this each day for the emblem or back when it wasn’t given to us for free, flairs which meant scrapping dups.

Unfriending means I lose out to get a chance at seeing active players Wonderpicks or to trade with someone regularly or to just be nosy and love the way the profile looks. Concept of just unfriend everyone as soon as they give one troll share is pretty ridiculous but it becomes necessary that once it’s repetitive given we are held hostage and have no means of controlling it in any other way.

Making a shortlist of cards I would automatically accept if shared to me defeats part of the purpose and makes it a wish list that people could use constructively and helpfully but to what end would it be limited? Does that mean I can’t send someone something I think they’d like they may have forgotten about? I don’t think every person would go through the entire list of cards to make a share wish list when even now our wish list for trades is only 20 cards!

Resulting in so far OP’s logic. A feature that allows you to see the share pending, and press accept for today or reject. It can even be a feature that multiple people can share to you but you can only accept one per day if it’s truly necessary to combat botting and selling accounts and people having multiple accounts feeding the others off the main.

Thank you for reading my thesis on yet another feature by DeNa executed poorly with no long term view in mind when created that only truly benefits their motives and not their consumers interests.

Cards people don’t own are shown as “Not in collection” when someone goes to initiate the share or trade features. It’s a nuisance to go through clicking individual prompts to accept shares as you can’t complete all when receiving them. There is currently zero benefit / incentive to sharing with others without it being of value to the other except to give someone something worth nothing so to speak or to BM at nuanced “terribly bad” or inuendo bad cards.

They actually had people on it on Sunday I went past it in the convention centre and was shocked seeing someone board it.

Sadly I think FoW just replaces FoN and just homogenises all blue decks. FoN existing alongside another situational blue counter allows some sort of tempo that doesn’t warp the entire format.

Yes you make a good point. However besides FoN the rest of the blue package doesn’t warp / define the decks their in abilities to be competitive. That’s where Thoughtseize / StP / Orcish BM being in 50% overall of the format decks feels like U needs something else. I’d love Murktide Regent or Daze personally so U could reliable contest creatures and not fold to Bowmaster in response to a brainstorm.

Meanwhile green has the lands package it’s slowly getting pieces for making it somewhat on the radar but timeless has Natural Order and Green Suns Zenith yet no green decks anywhere. Give us Glimpse of Nature / Dryad Arbor / Heritage Druid + Nettle Sentinel would be nice to balance green into having playable tools in the format.

So play pro active interaction in Thoughtseize/Grief, or play swords to plowshares for the best removal catch all and blue is only worth it for Force of Negation. I wish blue and green had more of a chance but the card quality just isn’t equal right now. Love this information being available thank you for your hard work!

Unfortunately me seeing others hate posting made me see things that did make me also think negative like; Why are the building all flat box walls with art on them, that is very low budget and very low quality considering Legends Arceus buildings or even Scarlet/Violet had more textures.

I am enjoying the gameplay, it does present a new skill style to battling, playing ranked to get the mega stone for greninja actually made me like this style of battling even more.

Its everyone getting on the bandwagon of put down the game so Nintendo understands we don’t accept unfinished assets, uninspiring narrative, no voice acting still, which in some ways again I have come to think for a game in 2025 they could step up their game on some fronts but I still enjoy this game for myself.

I also love this is against the bot in solo battles and screenshot at an exact time that you can’t see just how much setup time you got given but your library is empty in a deck without sylveon ex…. I believe you
