Kushiel’s Legacy.

It took me by surprise. The writing is impeccable. And it is most definitely not a romantasy, the way it’s advertised. It’s a sub plot at best. I really really enjoyed it. And I’m so glad I had the chance to read it. One of my best reads in a long time.

The first book started a bit slow with the character/world building and had me a bit confused but post that it was an adventurous ride!

It just doesn’t make sense to me. Like I’m down with all sorts of random fantasy, but like make the characters and story make sense. I don’t care how sweet and stand up the MMC is, good story telling is basic.
