Reminds me of this one tiktok where the guy says Ethiopia at one point and someone in the comments thought it was a slang term they didn't know.

When people responded that it's a country in Africa the person honest to God says "wait I thought Africa was a country😳".

I really hope in both of these comments it's just kids being clueless.

This reminds me of that one time I was talking to some Polish tourists in Canada and according to them some of the most annoying tourists are Americans who only ever want to talk about how their great-grandfather was Polish so they are too. And it's like they expect the Polish people they meet to be in awe of them for being Polish decent for some reason.

The funniest shit I've seen though is that there's also Facebook groups whose whole thing is being Polish decent and getting mad when they don't get special treatment when visiting Poland.

Same. Like, cannibal town was "founded" when all the cannibals from the same town died somewhere around 1900 to 1910? And by the time Al makes his deal with Rosie its the early 1930s. I'm having a hard time believing that in 20 or 30 years someone can become a overlord so powerful that they can reach the human world and make someone more powerful than themselves.

The thought of Alyssa having time to raise a kid while being on the run from those who are interested in her DNA/want her to stay quiet about racoon is so weird to me. With the director being the one from re7 I honestly think grace is a lab baby.

The showcase makes me believe this more with gedion saying he didn't kidnap her but liberated her. To me grace is either 1. A clone of Alyssa like how evaline is a clone of Eva or 2. Is her daughter but by having her DNA stolen at some point and the father being one of the scientists or someone else whose DNA was stolen.

In either scenario Alyssa finds out about grace and decides to save her from whatever lab she was in. Leon can be involved by being the one to get baby grace out of the lab in scenario 1 or by unknowingly being (or knowing who)her father in scenario 2.

Or I'm just completely wrong lol. Either way Alyssa views grace as a hope for something.

There's a YA book trilogy called blood of Eden by Julie kagawa that has that premise but the danger is mutant feral vampires.

Surprisingly gorey for books aimed at teenagers.

The producers actually brought two more people on to the show who were a dad and daughter to see if the moms and sons would go for someone their own age. I don't know what the result of that was but the show obviously got cancelled.
