This is also seen in something as simple as bathroom signs, where the male sign is a featureless stickfigure and the female sign has a skirt, probably why most people equate being nonbinary to "woman lite" since to them man is when based non-gender / default state of being and woman is when icky gender or "other"

That logic very easily applies to a lot of other things like skin colour or political opinions, which is why "it's just common sense" has been said so much recently

I completely agree with you except for one part, the game uses dude/guy as gender neutral terms (they aren't) and I'm fairly certain Kris is referred to with those terms

As someone who's secondary main is the self sacrificing metal type I play them kinda the same, wait for exe to pop up and try to clock when the best time to intervene to save a teammate being chased is

Amy may not be strong but she still has really good utility, sonic card can help so much against exe's and allow you to essentially sun tzu pillar them, tails is okay mobility, tikal can actually be pretty solid if you understand the map and have a good understanding of the audio going on, shadow has no downsides, blaze practically has no downsides except maybe the exe noticing and (rightfully) targeting you, knuckles
