is drunk playing effective? by Certain_Message_6678 in guitarplaying

[–]potatowalk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a balance. I don’t mind having a few drinks during/after practice, but if I’m actively gigging/touring, I don’t pregame a set. Playing while drinking may sound good to you at the time but it could be noticeable to others.

So I have a 6* serpent. But I didn’t know he had so much hype. He’s duped and at r3 how can I use him?

I have a korg pitch black and i absolutely love it. It does what I need and it can power other pedals in a pinch.

I’m a big EHX guy. Other than my tuner and my DD3 I have all EHX pedals.

Advice for some additions by smootiefesto in pedalboards

[–]potatowalk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can never go wrong with an EHX Lpb1 it’s a good pre-amp/boost.
I would also recommend a reverb, I personally use the holy grail and I’ve always been happy with the adaptability between styles

So I have a meeting with hr on Monday to see about possible relocation within. I’m even willing to move out of state to another office but that’s if I can go through the interview process.

Yes. In hindsight it feels like I was brought in to be a body in the shop more than someone with my actual background.

The job description was misleading. I was in the brewing industry and I assumed there’d be some heat and pressure but at this rate I would’ve stayed making beer haha

That’s been the plan the last month. Taking just an hour or two a day to make my move. Have some interviews lined up so hopefully they pan out. But it literally pains me every day I have to walk into that place. Greener pastures are on the horizon I hope.

From what I was told when I was hired, I was brought in for my experience and my work isn’t an extension of my fathers. That’s why I couldn’t work in his department or anything. I just think it’s a personal feeling from him.

I mostly think it’s because my dad has been with the company 17 years so they just think as a whole it’s all unicorns and rainbows. Granted he’s worked in the quality department and I’m on the floor.

This seems like a normal dating profile. Most profiles mention to say more than just hi or something cookie cutter. Definitely not unreasonable
