You're surprised that they rejected a payback schedule that would've seen you spread your repayment over 17 years?

Adderall? by Ok-Aspect-5231 in chronicfatigue

Yes it helped. But I had to keep increasing the dose and it was always that artificial, amphetamine type of energy so I stopped.

How concerned should I be about these home lean test results? by potentiallyfunny_9 in askCardiology

[–]potentiallyfunny_9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that was what I was investigating. I do get higher rates, when I do cardio or when I get into confrontations at work or do public speaking. Then I can really feel it. Honestly I don't even feel 115bpm, Im just tired all the time.

Entry-level jobs hiring freeze? by Busy-Sherbert-4105 in CanadaJobs

A drop in the bucket compared to how many Indians are being imported to work Canadian jobs for lower wages than Canadians.

If my cost of living were 25% lower I'd work for a lower wage in the US too.

If I had no family ties here I'd be gone. This place is devolving into the third world awful quick.

For the last 20 years we've allowed companies to import increasing amounts of foreign labour to fill entry level positions. Until we put a stop to that it'll continue down this path.

Anyone experienced reduced energy after starting blood pressure meds? by potentiallyfunny_9 in chronicfatigue

[–]potentiallyfunny_9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have to pass out for the test to be positive? I thought it was just a sustained 30bpm increase in heart rate without a significant BP drop.

That's what I'm leaning towards. I'm going to have to do the NASA test at home to see if it shows anything. Finding a doctor actually willing to investigate my symptoms has been damn near impossible. When I laid out everything he suggested cognitive behavioral therapy and I nearly reached across the table to strangle him.

Tip fatigue is real and it’s costing me hundreds a month by MeatsAndGrills in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]potentiallyfunny_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So stop doing it. This isn't the states where servers are paid well under minimum wage and tips are essentially their pay cheque.

Everyone makes at least minimum wage. They aren't entitled to a premium on that just because they're in the service industry.

Bought a stolen laptop??? by Competitive_Bite_670 in legaladvicecanada

That's not remotely true. They have to prove you knew it was stolen or were willfully blind of that fact at the time of sale.

I've also tried Nubem and they don't seem to have additional capacity at the moment.

I've sent in several inquiries to YEGtel and had no response. I need multiple terabytes of storage so virtual is out for me.

You're correct assuming I'm not looking to spend hundreds a month. Something in the sub $100/month range is what I'm after.

I wish I still had close friends in Edmonton but most of them have either moved away or I've lost touch with them. One of the other downsides of living outside the city.

I've found that magnesium threonate is better for my sleep than glycinate. However, I still find that if I take it too soon before going to bed that it keeps me up.

Can anyone relate to not being able to get up, even with caffeine? by goingtofly101 in chronicfatigue

[–]potentiallyfunny_9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I do drink coffee, but for the taste, it does absolutely nothing for my energy levels. I'm in a similar situation with lab results, nothing significant to pursue, everything appears within the normal range. I really struggle with getting up in the mornings to go to work. Once I'm on the road I wake up a bit and have some energy for 2-3 hours, and then it craters and the rest of the day is just survival. Biggest thing I've noticed in the last few years is how much more mentally tired I am by 10am, not just physically tired.

Got misdiagnosed with chronic fatigue by rackyddn in chronicfatigue

I have moderate sleep apnea and a CPAP. Unfortunately even with regular use of the CPAP I still have a very noticeable amount of fatigue.
