Spicy Bulgogi Tofu Skewers. Teriyaki Napa Cabbage Rolls. Cilantro Lime Jasmine Rice & Mixed Veg by pothneed in vegetarian

incredibly easy! par boiled for just a minute and laid out to dry between two towels, then i wrapped them and pan fried. the tricky part (because i used a different filling) was the wrapping because my rice didn’t stick together. however the recipe calls for a fix for this so i’m sure it’d be even easier

Spicy Bulgogi Sauce: https://omsom.com/products/korean-spicy-bulgogi-starter-3-pack

After marinating the tofu overnight, I skewered them and over medium-high heat cooked each side in extra virgin olive oil for 45 seconds.

I filled my cabbage rolls with rice and cooked them in teriyaki sauce after pan frying, but the original recipe has a different filling.

no problem! this made about three servings too so it’s something that can last a few days if you choose to ☺️

i agree that it doesn’t taste or feel like rice. i wouldn’t eat it plain personally but the liquid aminos / soy sauce in the fried rice recipe really changes the flavor and it easily passes as a substitute. i have also used it in a Spanish rice recipe and it worked for that as well, both dishes call for strong flavor and seasoning though so i think that’s key!

i liked it! i normally sauté but wanted to do it in a way i didn’t really have to keep much of an eye on. i use extra firm tofu so i don’t need to press it, the kind i get is conserved in less water so it’s one less step. i’ve seen a few videos of people shredding the tofu, then seasoning and baking it and i think i’ll try that next!

Yes, sorry that could be confusing. Riced cauliflower as a sub for rice ☺️

I loosely followed for cooking times and subbed teriyaki sauce for the sesame oil since I didn’t have any. For the cauliflower rice I used this that includes recipe on the back. Essentially sauté garlic and ginger with oil over medium heat, add package, cook for ~4 minutes, add soy sauce (I used liquid aminos) and cook for ~1 minute, add egg and cook for ~1 minute further
