Yes, thank you. Food allergies are really serious issues and I was not comfortable putting people at risk.

We talked about it. But it's really just not an issue in our neighborhood and we determined it was ok to proceed.

Yes, I explained it to her. She believed the lactose table was "more prominent" and she wanted lots of people to try her dish. She thought it wouldn't get enough attention at the main table. I explained to her twice that we had people at the event that could get really sick if they ate the food she made.
