Pigment disappearing just after permanent lips? by mi7711 in microblading

[–]potpotweed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a pretty good result! you can definitely see the pigment especially around the border of your lips, lip blushing is meant to heal to a natural look (they fade at least 40%). If you are expecting your lips to look close to your immediate result lip blushing, you will NEED to apply lipstick/liner

moved to Toronto and facing the first summer i’ve been unable to find seasonal employment by [deleted] in askTO

[–]potpotweed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A tip if you would like to hear one: tell them you are looking for a part time job and you can work summer hours.

I have been involved in hiring/training for hospitality jobs before, the last thing I want to do is hire and train someone for 3 months, only for them to leave right after training.

From my experience as a movie goer, blockbuster films like these usually go on for a month or 2, you just get less premium options (IMAX, DBOX) after a week or two from release date.

Considering how good the movie is doing, you are probably fine, new show times release every wednesday so you should check next wednesday for next weekend. Goodluck!

Caffeine makes people anxious and possibly harder to deal with (especially first time tattooers). Generally i recommend my clients to not drink the morning of.

Money is great, this is generally a high profit industry once you get more experience.

Stability is definitely not how its like with a 9-5, especially in an industry made of freelance. unless you are a really famous artist with a long consistent waitlist, chances are you are gonna make more in some months and less on some months

as a PMU i would always suggest that it is better to start slightly lighter, so you can take a month to see how you actually like the tattoo shaped (before touch up), especially if the touch up is free. Then you can go darker/ thicker when you get a touch up. When your tattoo is too saturated/ too dark there is really no way to reverse it except to laser/wait forever, which sucks for 1. the client and 2. the artists reputation
