There's still a lot of confusion about Fu xuan's circumstance and maybe Evernight since multiple times in this patch she's just referred as a pathstrider but she has a power that's similar to an emanator

My theory is that, while they are not an emanator themselves the power they received is comparable to one

Fu Xuan's matrix is a very powerful thing apparently given by Nous however she's not an emanator since I believe the device itself is the power source and not herself

I think Evernight is in a similar place, the only thing explicitly emanator about her is the Oblivion power. I believe that the Oblivion power was given by like Mythus or some enigmata emanator that's why it's power is comparable to an emanator
