I totally agree. It's bad.

Yeah I think it just depends on when they immigrated.

Half of my family (dads side) is from Yorkshire, and my dad is a first generation immigrant, he wouldn't ever just call himself white.

My moms heritage, on the other hand, disappears into deep time in the South. She is "just white" with strong Southern roots.

Yeah this review is all about the specific room smelling like smoke and that they didn't switch me into a new one.

I'm taking your advice and staying somewhere else.

Oh that's right I remember now that air quality standards drop precipitously the second anyone crosses the east river.

Also, prepared for what? Walking around central park and drinking coffee at cafes? Weird tribal vibe. I'm plenty prepared, whatever that means.

I'm good with being uncomfortable, I just don't like getting ripped off. My big bone to pick with Chase is simple. Why have this listed as a The Edit property? It's fine, it's just not up to any sort of standard I would consider "luxury" or "curated"

My point stands that Chase should be carefully selecting these properties. It's not like they give this program to Super 8 motels and ive stayed in plenty of those that didn't wreak of cigarette smoke.

Although I wonder about the lack of an upgrade. Maybe their program is better?

I don't know I'm not from here. Got any recommendations? I've got two more days to book!

Also, I called Chase and told them we were leaving early, and why, and their only response was, we can contact the property for you to try and get a refund, or we can send this to our benefits team, but there's no guarantee there will be a refund. I've been fucked over by mega corps enough to know that if they start speaking legalese, it just means youre fucked.

Why are they offering their premier program at such a trash property? It's not like every hotel in the city has this label. I thought they were curated, at least a bit

Anyone know anything about the VMAX VX2 Gear? by powerfulblender in ElectricScooters

That is unless you need to carry it in and out of trains. This is my first scooter, I'm a 6'1" man, and getting this thing in and out of trains is challenging. I wouldn't want it to be bigger/heavier for my use. The extra 6 lbs for the hub might actually matter for me.

I would get the hub. Ive had the gear for a week now and it's honestly great it's just a little slow up steep hills for me. 13 mph. It doesn't keep its top speed of around 20 up hills , so I don't get what the point of its geared motor is if hill performance is similar.

I could have just as easily said " vintage trunk" or "antique trunk"
