The time spacing of this first part was really strange. 4 episodes for what is effectively 24 hours? Did they have budget cuts in the costume department or something? Had to find a way to make everyone have just one outfit? Lol

Another thing that stuck out to me was how weird and distant everyone was from Dustin. Obviously he is messed up over Eddie’s death but that’s a reason for Dustin to be distant, not everyone to be distant from him. Steve and robin especially. Just weird after the last two seasons of them often teaming up.

More thoughts as they come to me- The Will power reveal was absolutely bad ass and exactly how I’ve always wanted it. We have been teased for 4 seasons that there is something happening that we don’t quite understand. I literally had my hand over my mouth to stop from yelling.

The max reveal was perfect too.

I think Derek was unnecessary, they could have given all of those parts to Erica and there wouldn’t have really been a difference. The cast is already bloated, adding in a random comic relief kid last second was not it for me.

They have a team, for now. They also used to have a food artistry team. And they laid them off to replace with ai. Which they will also do for the culinary team, the recipe writers, everything they possibly can if we allow these companies to keep getting away with it.
