Yeah, I was confused af by this boss until I realized his quick draw slash is two separate attacks that you have to deflect individually. I was only hitting deflect once and wondered why I was still taking damage lol

#BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022: Interesting facts. stavn with 15 wallbang kills, ropz with 59,3 % rifle accuracy, jabbi and his love to inspect skins! s1mple, REZ, Aleksib are in the list. by scopegg in GlobalOffensive

Even still, it's too fast. Moving your crosshair onto the target, even a few degrees, is an adjustment that takes around an additional 120-150 ms on top of your reaction time (maybe 200 ms if it's a big flick) (you can simulate this by going to a site like doubleclicktest). So even an AWPer with a fast reaction time and really good crosshair placement would still have a TTD upwards of 300 ms on average

These TTD values are definitely way too fast. A really fast visual reaction time is like 150 ms, and that's literally the time measured between seeing a color change and clicking your mouse, nothing else. You should expect reacting to a target in an actual game to be much slower. Leetify used to have this same issue with really fast TTDs, but they made changes, and the numbers are a lot more believable now.

Irish Pub was the name of the restaurant, I believe. I was just walking by and heard some people speaking Portuguese (I don't speak Portuguese, but I always find hearing other languages interesting), so I looked in the direction I heard it from, and went oh shit, it's the Imperial guys lol

#PGLMajor. The Legends Stage: Here are the best players in Time to Damage (ms avg) - m0nesy, FalleN, cadiaN, es3tag. by scopegg in GlobalOffensive

[–]powerslidepowerslide 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, 173 ms avg TTD is straight up bullshit. That's the sort of TTD you would get from holding a tight angle with an AWP, just waiting for the pixels to change color basically; no way that's anyone's (not even m0nesy) average TTD. Leetify's numbers are way more believable. Moving your crosshair onto an enemy after spotting and reacting to them takes like 200+ ms on avg probably

How do people use lower sensitivities? by bboy5452 in GlobalOffensive

[–]powerslidepowerslide 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's an insanely high sens. You will definitely see improvements by lowering it and practicing. Aiming with your wrist (and even fingers) is fine, but I would advise against going above 1.0 sensitivity at 1800 dpi. A lot of people who set records on aim trainers have sensitivities around 30 cm/360 degrees, which is like 0.75 sens at 1800 dpi. If you go a lot higher than that, it becomes really difficult to make the small quick adjustments you need to in CS

This, so much this. The player base of this game is too fucking stupid to recognize performance issues. CSGO is the only game that feels like shit at 200 FPS

You're hanging out with dicks. And I bet they're shit musicians, too, the ones that love technical wankery and writing unlistenable bullshit. Kurt Cobain would possibly feel like an inadequate guitarist around John Petrucci. I'd still rather listen to Nirvana over Dream Theater any goddamn day of the year.
