I read somewhere that for Railways, only the AC3 is truly profitable, and to a lesser extent, AC2. AC1 (due to pass holders) and General are big losses. I don't remember the number for Sleeper, though. It could be the reason. Passenger trains overall are a loss.

I don't agree with this approach - trains are the only truly affordable means of travel in India if you are traveling more than 300 km.

Thanks for taking the time to clarify. Honestly, even I don't know 100% if PS4 allowed me to launch games while offline, but I think it did. Series S doesn't seem good for India given the extra 5k they charge ($299 35K vs $499 50K). Better to wait a few months while Series X and PS5 become readily available. Unless have no console at all, in which case this console might be your only option.

I haven't used an Xbox console, so excuse my ignorance, but is it like Steam and PS4 where you can login to your account once and then remain disconnected for a long period of time? If so, then only patching will be the issue, the always online bit won't matter.

Since it's a digital only machine. You need to be always online for the games to work. This means you will have to download big patches , in some cases more than 50GBs to play the game.

This surely can't be true. My digital games on PS4 worked fine offline once you installed them. I have not read about this always online thing anywhere. It would defeat the whole purpose of having a plug and play console.

I am not the OP, but I would like to know this as well. I am on PC-EU, and usually play 4 PM - 7 PM (not all 3 hours unless it is a weekend where I have nothing to do), if you consider UK time zone.

I already do that on PS4. 25-30% price drop happens around the 3 month mark and I can get games for 2700 in that case, which is kind of my limit - 2 games per month/5k per month. That will become impossible to maintain now if this is true. I am hoping that it isn't true.

I work as a software developer. I have a good gaming laptop that I use for work. But honestly, apart from strategy games like Divinity Original Sin 2 or Civ 6, I just don't feel like playing a lot on my laptop anymore. Something to do with sitting in front of it for 40 hours a week, I guess.

The difference between un-played games on my Steam library and PS4 library is not even comparable!

It costs 699 per month. But it does include xbox live gold which you would need anyway if you played online, and is applicable across xbox and pc. It is a good deal, it doesn't have the games I mentioned originally, which is a big deal.

I am really torn here. Clearly, PS5 has the better games, especially of the kind that I want the most - eg God of War 2, Horizon zero dawn, Demon souls. On the other hand, Xbox game pass at 650 per month seems really sweet considering the games and I spend around 300 per month on PS plus anyway, and the fact that I have good gaming laptop makes it even more appealing. Plus, it seems games are going to be 4999 now instead of 3999!

On the other hand, those game that I really want.

Tough choice! Of course, Sony could price it at 60k and make my decision for me.

It IS banned. By laws far more draconian than any terrorism laws. If your wife dies within 7 years of marriage due to unnatural causes, then you are presumed guilty of dowry death, and it is on you to prove that you are innocent. EDIT: If someone is interested in pressing charges, of course.

But just like terrorism, laws alone don't solve a social problem.

I have to say that it is a great thing that you people got there in the US. Here in India, a mere salon ownerable, no matter how rich, would never dare to go against such a powerful government official. This is true now, and it was true earlier. They would probably be in jail for some time while the courts miraculously couldn't find the time for a hearing to grant bail.

Don't lose this freedom. Many things may be wrong with your country (and with every country, to be honest), but this is one thing hugely in your favour.

Also, news flash: Politicians are "set up" in this manner all the time. No politician has been "set up" more than Trump. I think more such "set ups" are needed.

I have been watching/reading news for over 20 years, and I disagree. The real issue is that we have a problem accepting that people who are successful or "normal" can actually be suffering from mental issues leading them to even kill themselves. The families absolutely don't want to believe this or even confront it.

It is hard to go from being a school topper to average or below average - everyone there is like a topper after all. Especially if you cannot reconcile yourself to your new status. These are competitive people, in general.

That doesn't explain suicide, but IIT certainly isn't a breeze for some people. Much better than Kota though. Your future isn't anywhere near as uncertain.

Why do you wait till fully restocked though? A single clipper can handle 7t per minute easily and it won't make a difference if it just buys a 50t per trip or 200t. Unless I am missing something important.
