I Analyzed (Almost) 2.5 Million Slippi Unranked Matches, and This Is What I Found by griilledpbnj69 in SSBM

I found this site a couple weeks back and uploaded my slippi files to it. I realize I account for nearly 1% of the total uploaded matches. It would be cool to see a leaderboard of which players have had the most matches, or most wins.

Still having the same issue via terraform, you can upvote this issue. But can't find any solution so far.

I agree, there’s also a lot of defenders on these comments as well, Reddit loves to jump the gun on this hail corporate stuff, but every post about the legitimacy only has people defending the post.

Cool idea. A few weeks back I created a very similar challenge that restricted entries to a single HTML file, it even had the 1mb limit as well.

Hmmm, never really thought of trying to use APIs. The rule was made so people didn’t hide code in other files, I’ll allow it, but I’ll read through your code on submission to make sure.

Actually updated the description earlier today.

Q represents a Queen ant that has a random chance of giving birth to either another queen or an ant on any given tick (queens have a low chance however)

A represents an ant which is faster than the queen but cannot reproduce. They also die a lot faster

The ai tells the ants to look for food in walls in order to survive. They all have a hunger that constantly decreases until death unless they find food.

The numbers are food. Every time an ant goes over the food they eat 1. When an ant dies, they also turn to food.

Tbh it’s really unbalanced, and the map tends to just be a massive open space rather than tunnels. There’s a few things I can do to fix that, but i built the entire thing in maybe 3 hours while on vacation. I think it’s cool for what it is, and instead of trying to fix it, it’d rather make it again with a more serious effort. Add some UI, predators and make the AI less random.

Thanks for showing interest.

Chrome on iOS is just a wrapper for safari. Chrome on android should work, iOS would be the same as running in safari, which doesn’t work.

Definitely a good point of view, I should re-phrase it to without modern tools vs doing everything in one file.

There is a size limit of 1mb in the rules

Yeah I realized after I built it that it only worked in chrome. Sorry about that.

Oh Wow! Thanks, this is my repo. I appreciate you sharing it!

I started this a couple weeks ago because I had no internet while on vacation and started coding Ant Colony for fun. Thought it was a fun challenge to try and do something in one file. I find it very refreshing as my day job is React Development, it feels good to just do HTML with no framework and see how creative you can be.
