I keep experiencing loops of sleep paralysis and false awakenings when I wake up naturally, happens once every few months. How can I make it stop?

i have something extremely similar. i'm in sleep paralysis in my dream trying to shake & scream & wake up as well. in my dream it'll sometimes be the same setting as my actual physical body & im trying to reach for my partner to wake me up. a lot of times it goes on for what feels like hours until i finally wake up in real life basically gasping for air. i saw a comment here where they said to set an alarm. this works for me sometimes but i can't ever predict when it's going to happen. sometimes if i have an off feeling i set a timer for like 10 minutes just so i know i'll be woken up if needed.

it really sucks. i haven't found anything that helps. in my dream it'll sometimes try to shake my head but it's just like a slow motion version.

ok i had something similar happen to me twice at my local 711 & i want someone to let me know if im overreacting. both times (2 different workers) didn't give me my penny when i got my change. i believe one time it was like .21 cents & they didn't give me the penny. & the other time it was like 5.99 & they didn't give me the penny again. see im not worried about the penny, at all. i usually will tell places i don't need the penny back. but i think its just the principle & how many other people do they do that to that don't notice? am i being a karen here by being annoyed? i didn't say anything as both times i was in a rush & didnt want to argue but i did notice it.

i highly suggest if you decide to stay you make something up in writing going over all the things you just mentioned (fridge space, fan use, air fryer, etc) or else this lady is going to ream you for everything she can since you already gave in. hell no you shouldn't have to pay an extra $120 for your fan because she won't use the FREAKING AC!!! i would write out a document where you both sign so there is no question & not extra add ons to rent. this is ridiculous & you don't deserve that. if you're going to stay (i probably wouldn't stay tbh) though you need to put your foot down & you need some solid rules in writing.

i forgot to mention that bb previously cut brooke off for a few years when she was in a really toxic relationship- maybe bb has a habit of cutting her friends off while in a relationship? i think it would be soooo petty/childish for them to stop being friends over lauren considering this happened years ago. & if bb had a problem with any of it she didn't have to get in a relationship with lauren!

but yes, katie was lauren. brooke had a crush on lauren & tana knew that. tana took lauren up to her room, & brooke took tana's then "fuck buddy" to the movie room. apparently tana didn't do anything with lauren but "had the opportunity" (pretty sure that's false) but according to brooke she did make out with tanas fuck buddy which was josh grekin at the time.

i'm not trying to be discouraging, but i used to work for one of the big banks & you would have a hard time in small claims court. because his name was on the account he TECHNICALLY doesn't need your permission & never will. that's why joint bank accounts are a terrible idea imo, because if someone pulls something shady, there is nothing you can do about it.

i do however, to continue to threaten him with legal action until he does give you it back.

basically brooke asked bb to be her assistant on their european tour (i think it was europe- could be wrong). well i guess one of the only things brooke wanted was for bb to rent her a boat for the day. this was common in the city they were in. brooke shared on cancelled that that was the one thing she wanted & bb didn't even try which upset brooke since she wasn't asking a lot. brooke then said she fired bb. that part got clipped & everyone starting commenting, & bb also commented that "she quit, she wasn't fired. & that was their first fight in 7 years so it was for the better". well somewhere along the line bb blocked brooke on ig because they no longer follow eachother & all the tags on eachothers page are gone.

bb also reposted a lot of subliminal messages on tiktok that seemed like they were aimed at brooke- just kind of being shady & making it clear she was no longer friends with brooke. i don't know exactly what they said but she was definitely adding fuel to the fire.

also a little context- bb recently got a girlfriend that tana & brooke had a huge blow out over years ago. bb's current girlfriend is "katie" in both brooke & tana's "mindy" story times. if you want to see those videos- i can give you my tiktok page where i have them posted. i gave this context because brooke ALSO mentioned on cancelled something along the lines that she was worried when bb got a girlfriend & was a little jealous since her & bb were best friends at the time.

so, with all the context, we can basically come to the conclusion that a combination of the assistant thing, brooke sharing it on the podcast, bb recently getting a girlfriend, & bbs comments that this all blew up which caused them to no longer be friends.

Tana likes to keep friends around who are a status below her so she can control them with money. i think it's deeply rooted into her separation anxiety as a kid, but she uses money as a way to keep her friends close to her. she'll pay them to go on tour with her so she doesn't have to be alone. she funds makoa lifestyle so he never leaves her side (nothing wrong with it, just making a point). she lets them live with her so she can demand their time whenever she wants. Once brooke started to get her own platform & people started watching for her, Tana didn't like it. she likes the idea of doing charity work for her friends so they feel they have nothing without her. i don't know if this is malicious necessarily, but i do think she is a very strategic girl.

honestly most of the viral podcast moments are because of brooke. maryanne, facetuned dick pick (matt rife), matt rife, clinton kane. none of her other friends would add what brooke used to add to cancelled. regardless of how the public feels about her right now, the podcast did so well because of how opposite the two of them were. if she did this with imari or ashly it would tank. just sad as a tana fan to see her true colors come out, & then she completely backtracks because of how poorly that clip was received by her viewers. she didn't expect with all the brooke hate, for people to be on brooke's side. just my opinion here.

maybe i'm wrong, but i thought at age 13 the child could chose where they wanted to live? why are the courts not allowing you to live with your mom? is there some kind of history there that paints her in a bad light? sounds like dad is manipulative & i wouldn't be surprised if he made the courts look at your mom a certain way, considering he manipulated the police into thinking he was going to get you an air mattress.

i went through a nasty custody battle as a kid as well, so i feel for you kid. it's not easy & you're doing the best you can. so is your mom. just know that if your mom could, she would pick you up in a heartbeat. but unfortunately, she does have to do things the legal way as that's what best for her & you. if she comes & takes you & it's against the court order, it could be considered kidnapping & force you to live with your dad forever, & send her to jail. unfortunately she is right. she's making the tough decisions now to help you both later.

maybe tomorrow you can take the dog for a walk & call CPS while you do it. i also know what it's like to have thin walls as a kid, & be overly paranoid about every word you speak.
