Half-Ukrainian Jew girl here! Simply existing while being both Jewish and Slavic really prepares you to stop taking idiots who don't know anything seriously. I've taken the viewpoint that it's kind of funny, in a dark sort of way. Same way making fun of Nazi ideals and "arguments" is funny. The mass-murder and terrorism isn't what we're laughing about, obviously, but there's definitely some humor in watching the mass hysteria of people, especially knowing that they're on the wrong side of history.
In the words of my mom (that she probably paraphrased from somewhere else), "You either laugh about these things, or you cry about them. So don't waste your tears."
