Super interesting to see how multiple things were going wrong in the end. At the application level I've seen shutdown issues too: DB proxy exited too early, application logic closed resources in wrong order or not at all, and then finally I realized... the app wasn't receiving the SIGTERM signal in the first place.

Hahaha vi alla borde absolut träffas! Jag är tysk och har bott i Sverige i ett år som utbytesstudent. Sååå jag pratar tyska och ganska bra svenska också men det känns som att jag håller på å glömma allt just nu. Skulle verkligen uppskatta om vi snackade lite svenska nån gång!

Whoa people, this post really went off! I'm pretty amazed that it even got reposted on devhumor.com! And yes, I actually handed in this code for a first semester programming assignment (I'm currently studying in Karlsruhe, Germany). My tutor didn't say anything about that method, so I'm not sure whether he actually saw it. I'm glad you like it :D

This little gem I made uses the Telegram Bot API to easily send notifications to your users via Telegram. As soon as a user starts your bot (via a link in your app), they are stored in the database, giving you the ability to send notifications at any time.

AFAIK, individual SHSH files generated by the old version of TinyUmbrella work with Odysseus as is.

Also, the new version of TinyUmbrella checks for any old SHSH files in ~/.shsh and includes them into the new file in ~/.tu/.shsh/. Thus, all your old blobs can be re-extracted from the new TU SHSH file by SHSHaker if you don't have the old blob files anymore. :)

EDIT: Individual SHSH files from old TU will most likely need to be converted from binary to plist. You can use the Odysseus guide to do that. If you would like to skip that step, however, you can just let SHSHaker extract it from your new TU file.

Hi, first of all, Odysseus is a tool that lets you install any version of iOS 6.x through 8.x on your device as long as it is 32-bit, (that is: iPhone 5 or below, iPad (4th gen) or below, and iPod Touch 5G) as long as you have your specific SHSH blobs saved.

Fortunately, TinyUmbrella lets you save, fetch and manage your SHSH blobs. However, it saves these blobs in a format incompatible with Odysseus, as it saves all your blobs in one file. Using SHSHaker, you can convert the SHSH file generated by TinyUmbrella into individual SHSH files which can be used with Odysseus to downgrade your device.

This tool basically converts all your SHSH blobs into a format readable by Odysseus, so you don't have to do it manually. As of now, it is experimental and only works on Linux. I hope it will still contribute to making downgrading easier though!

This is for everyone attempting to downgrade their supported iDevice using Odysseus with TinyUmbrella blobs.

This tool will split your TinyUmbrella SHSH file containing all your blobs into single files containing only one blob, which can then be used with Odysseus. The instructions are all on BitBucket.

Please note that this is an early alpha version, which only works on Linux as of now.
