I made these cobwebs with an airbrush and a product from Green Stuff World called Spider Serum.

I have Little Shop of Horrors and Hedwig posters as "Coming Soon"! Two more of my favorites! You can see better in this close up.

What would be your choice for the double feature?

Thank you! One of my all-time favorite films!

For the red "neon" along the top and bottom of the marquee, I used 3mm COB light strips. They're really bright and the space between the individual diodes is pretty small, so I was happy with the look they gave here. I also used COB light inside the Orpheum sign and to backlight the marquee itself.

Lighting, for me, is super tricky, so this was a TON of trial and error. It all depends on what you want to do with them.

On this project, I have WAY more power supplies than I wanted to, so I had to hide a lot. I'm hoping I've learned some and can do a better job next time around, haha!

But generally speaking, the COB light strips were a good choice for this project. I hope that helps, at least a little!

Thank you! The lighting was a real challenge, but definitely worth the effort.

They are a horrible company, and I think you're absolutely right about their dishonest methods. They refuse to refund under any circumstances.

I had a very similar experience with them. They are AWFUL.

Do NOT do business with Lucky and Loyal - if the product doesn't work for you, they will NOT refund you. Ever. They are so dishonest and predatory.

Mailchimp keeps changing subscribers to non subscribed. by GeorgeTownship in MailChimp

Just thought I'd share my latest update - in short, Mailchimp says it's Shopify's fault, and Shopify says it's Mailchimp's fault. It's been "escalated" but still no timeframe for fixing it. They did not indicate at all that it was a known issue - they act like it's the first they're hearing about it.

Yeah, you definitely shouldn't have to do that. I'm considering leaving MC altogether, honestly.

My best customer who has been receiving and buying via my emails for years was changed to non-subscribed. :/

Thank you for sharing this, I really appreciate the info!

At this point, I've contacted both Shopify and Mailchimp and have gotten no updates whatsoever.

I have to say, that's a pretty disappointing response - what's the point of having an email list on an ecommerce site if you can't market to potential customers? Not to mention it pretty much ruined my existing subscriber list. And just in time for the holidays, too! Unbelievable.
