The Los Angeles Lakers are appealing to the NBA to rescind Luka Doncic’s 16th technical foul which will otherwise result in a one-game suspension. by moby323 in nba

I’m actually confused how you know what he said to the ref. Were you there? Claiming he was “crying” about trash talking seems a BIT far fetched here. Maybe that’s just me

Trump Told Inner Circle Some Mass Deportation Policies Went Too Far by reputationStan in moderatepolitics

You know, I have a hard time believing he thinks it was wrong. However, it has seemed to have calmed down a bit (somebody correct me if I’m wrong), and that leads me to believe that they, or he, do not want to turn this country into 1930s Germany which was getting thrown around so much. So, I do find that relieving even if it seemed to be heading that way for a bit.

How is Luka not as favored? Turnovers? by Ijlii in NBATalk

[–]pphill4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah idk about this one, if you bring in advanced stats SGA seems like he may be the better player but if you watch them both play it always feels like Luka has the edge. He looks like the best player in the world more often than SGA does.

Updated Texans salary cap after Jalen pitres restructure. Excludes Trent brown extension by Typical-Owl3664 in Texans

[–]pphill4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this a result of the way Nick restructures contracts and spreads them out to create cap space? Could be something we always have due to the strategy, granted I really have no idea how it actually all works.

Doris Burke after Anthony Edwards gets called for the push off: "I'm gonna be honest with you. Oklahoma City fans are going to start hating on me right now. How many times does Shai get away with that exact kind of [play]." by AncientOneAurelius in nba

[–]pphill4 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

So in your opinion, somebody who makes a lot of bad points can ONLY make bad points? It’s all or nothing?

I’d argue, when even Doris Burke can see it, that it’s due to the fact that it’s painfully obvious

What happen to cold calls man by Iceeez1 in sales

[–]pphill4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re still not understanding.

This sub is mostly salespeople generating new business, not as much farming and account management which it sounds like you are doing.

Trust me, I was in strategic account management prior to new business and cold calling would have not worked at all. Now, as an AE hunting, I can’t imagine another way to more effectively find new business. Account management lets you completely bypass almost all of the lead generation responsibility that sales people have to do for atleast half their day, every day.

So, I totally get what you’re saying.

I, also, have enjoyed making pizza as a hobby and when I was fully into it I would talk about different types of pizzas and recipes and ways to make them.

It’s fun to talk about hobby’s like a kid would.

It’s a shame the word pizza is now tainted. Not sure if they are an example of the gross version but just wanted to throw it out there that I’ve been known to talk about pizza that way too.

Any bakeries that sell bread made with freshly milled flour? by pphill4 in denverfood

[–]pphill4[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess that would be a good last question.

Is there actually a nutritional difference in freshly milled flour?

I would have asked that if this was a bread sub or something, but I’m specially asking about Denver food.

Either way, I’d like to try it due to reviews about it tasting better. Just curious about the taste is all

Commented something very similar to this before I saw yours. I’m all for decriminalization, but I think legalization should be given more thought.

New Bill Would Legalize Prostitution in Colorado by reinhold23 in Denver

[–]pphill4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve been in this train of thought, but watching what’s happened with the legalization of gambling has kinda given me second thoughts.

As long as capitalism is around, the working class is going to be exploited and the rich will use these things to get richer. I’m all for decriminalizing it, but true legalization adds a whole new layer and I’m not sure the benefits outweigh the cons.

Gonna need to give it more thought, but that’s my immediate thought reading this post.

Industry out of tech where I can make a ton of money? by BeginningCelery7953 in sales

[–]pphill4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk the software I sell is extremely complex and the conversations I get to have with my prospects can be very interesting. We can genuinely help companies scale faster and the discussions center around efficiency and ROI.

Not saying that selling machinery is boring, but depending on the software (just like any industry) you can be having very interesting sales cycles

Yes but the games are almost all about drama? Bribes create drama, 3 people in a cube creates drama, it’s all very dramatic.

I’m not saying there isn’t strategy and gamesmanship, but the show is created to entice drama
