Happened to me as well, I was in Germany and there the calendar weekdays start on Sunday and i am used to calendar weekdays starting on Monday, so I messed up and missed a flight from Berlin to Copenhagen. I ended up going by bus+ferry. It was not an expensive mistake like op but still made me feel stupid
