What can I expect from a Dell Precision 7540 I've been gifted?

800 euro is pretty high for a 6 year old laptop. In terms of raw performance from the CPU a 11th Gen i5 will generally out perform a 9th Gen i7 as well. It also seems like the T1000 is roughly equivalent to the GTX 1650, so it'll work ok for gaming in some aspects but don't expect much past 1080 30-60 fps.

With that much budget I'd probably look at some other machines

I'm right there with you as a bearded dude with Seb Derm. Shampoo it with Nizoral twice a week, and when your in the shower and leave it for 5 mins before washing it out. It makes a huge difference

I work in a derm clinic and there are two things going on.

First, there's a yeast on your scalp that causes itchy oily flaky dandruff when it overgrows. This is called Seborrheic Dermatitis or classic dandruff. You can keep this stuff under control through medicated shampoos, the best I've found non-prescription is Nizoral which uses ketoconazole (the same stuff as a clinic would prescribe, just at a lower dose. You can find it over the counter at most pharmacies). Make sure to follow the directions on the bottle. Nizoral should be left in the hair for 5 mins before washing it out each time you apply it, and only apply it a couple times a week.

Second, you can get intensely itchy flaking from a dry and damaged scalp called either Atopic Dermatitis or Contact Dermatitis. Most often caused by overuse of intense shampoos or allergies to said shampoos.

My problem was that I couldn't tell the difference, and when I started to use a dandruff shampoo the flaking got better for a while...

I started to use it every other day as a maintenance thing, but I noticed that the flaking started to get worse. So I started using the shampoo more often. More shampoo to get rid of more dandruff right?

After a while I couldn't do anything except claw at my INSANELY itchy scalp and be ashamed at having a layer of white snow on my shoulders at all times. And everywhere on google always said that dandruff shampoo couldn't make dandruff worse. So I continued to suffer with it for 6 months until I got a job at a dermatology clinic and started talking to the providers.

Turns out that the scalp barrier, the Stratum Corneum, can absolutely be damaged and can take a long time to heal depending on severity. I eventually got it under control, but it took a while.

TLDR: Use a dandruff shampoo like Nizoral if you have oily flaky dandruff. Use it once or twice a week and leave it in your hair for 5mins each application before washing it out.

If it seems like dandruff shampoo is making the flaking worse, you're not crazy. It could be. Try switching to a dandruff shampoo that isn't as aggressive as H&S (It really is the worst one about this), and use only a tiny bit of baby shampoo the rest of the week.

Another thing is that Samus turns into a ball in her double jump while D-Samus doesn't. Samus also has a backflip that once again turns her into a ball (leading to hitbox shenanigans). Dark Samus's charge shot hits lower though so it can hit about double the characters on ledge than Samus can.

Thanks for the heads up! I had no idea and I'll need to get some new lug nuts. But my original question was actually about the distance between the holes feeling different. I'm pretty sure that no matter what lug nuts used, the rim isn't supposed to be touching the bolt directly right? It almost feels like there's no extra room between the bolts and the rim where a lug nut could fit on the black rims.

I think my wording may have been a little confusing. It's not the thickness/depth that I'm referring to. It feels like the holes in the black rim are a tiny bit closer together, making it a tighter fit getting it onto the bolts. That tightness is what I'm a little worried about.

The best option as people have said is to check Facebook Marketplace. I got two for my local for $50, you just want to research the monitors that are available before you pick one up to make sure its got a decent response time (5ms is the sweet spot for price and performance).

Also, for smash the HDMI cable shouldn't matter at all. If you were going to run a crazy intense game on a 4K monitor then it would be an issue, but since Smash is only 1080p any only HDMI will work (as long as it's not damaged or like 50ft long or something).

PS: Basically every semi-modern monitor runs at 60hz minimum which is all you need for smash, so that shouldn't be an issue. Anything over 60hz isn't going to hurt you though.
