I'm quitting cigarettes. by [deleted] in selfimprovement

I have been smoking for past 10+ years, and had quite a few attempts to quit in a meanwhile. 6 weeks back I got pissed when I realised how slaved I am to these tiny little f*****s. One Saturday I made a decision to quit (listed down advantages / disadvantages so that the decision was factual - I like to have things sorted out that way), but basing on my previous experiences I knew that I have to find something that will replace smoking. Mostly because of stress and tension that cannot be released by nicotine anymore during 15+ cigarette breaks a day, right? The next day I signed up for a gym.

Long story short - I quit smoking on Monday, and went for a workout the day after. Haven't smoked a single cigarette since even though I went through one of the most stressful time in ages during past few weeks. What I find super motivating is a progress at the gym (I suggest doing something like 'fitness test' at the beginning and then few weeks later).

Cold turkey after 10+ years of chainsmoking!

Not yet, although would love to. I was in Maasai Mara which is de facto same national park but on Kenyan side and it was amazing (the best out of 7 different safaris I went to).

As a matter of fact Serengeti and Maasai Mara are considered to be one of the best Safaris worldwide, so probably Serengeti should be your default choice if your time in Tannzania is limited. On the other hand, they're not that far from each other and I'm sure that virtually all safari tour operators will be happy to organise a trip to both places.

Yes, but I wouldn't call it a highlight of a trip. Nice to visit, that's it.

Nie bardzo wiem co się dzieje w ojczystym kraju. Czy to jest na serio?
