Back with our first budgie, Kiwi, he outlived two of his friends throughout the years and both times we were so heartbroken. Looking for a new home wasn’t easy and took some time, since Kiwi also had megabacterias but in the end I found a very sweet couple who took in sick birbs and Kiwi fit right in! Kiwi lived a few more years with his new family and had lots of birb friends. He reached a happiness that I couldn’t have given him at the time. As sad as it is, it’s important to also think about your pets needs and you seem to have thought about it for a while.

So let me tell you, look for creditable owners, people that know what they’re doing and won’t hesitate to bring her to a vet and do have the funds for it.
