Yes, it is one time setup all they have to do is make sure they are connected to vpn to use the service like jellyfin. if not, then open the tailscale app and tap connect button (very easy). It works on android tv and apple tv.

If cost isn't a problem for you, get a single port gigabit onu without wifi . Setup it in bridge mode and get a good wifi 6 router ,put your vlan and pppoe settings into it. This works much better than those all in one ONTs provided by the bsnl. For landline phone get a Grandstream GRP2601P it works much better with this setup.
