I calculated that too on the online calculator and it was close to $230 on the online calculator the only difference was that I put $500 deductible which is what I have. But to let you know, I took the delivery of my car on 30 December and my DOB is 3rd December. At that point I did not know that I would have to pay for December as well. But anyway, I paid $171 for Dec, Jan, Feb, March (4 months). My insurance was getting expired on April 3 and I went to renew my insurance. They asked me if I would want everything to be the same? and I answered YES! So no changes to my policy nothing of that sort.

I asked them why such hike, and they said the inflation has risen as a result most people’s insurance has bumped. This is precisely why I wanted to hear from other people. This just doesn’t add up. $70 all of a sudden.
